Title: Colossus Flights E and F - Selling up to 50% Post by: The Camel on June 04, 2016, 08:01:23 AM Going to play Flight E of the Colossus tomorrow and Flight F ($565 each flight) if I bust before the buy in for that session is finished.
Looking to sell up to 50% of my action at 1.1 if in sterling (bank transfer) or on Stars or at spot for cash in Vegas. Obviously will refund if I don't play flight F. Using today's xe rate 10% = £86 5% = £43 etc etc Will be playing regardless of how much (if any) I sell. GL me. I wrote the OP just before going to bed and I got a PM which would have been third in the thread to buy 10%. I've booked that and asked Dan to drop to 10% so everyone else gets their sweat. If he wants the full twenty, I'll just play for 40%, no probs. Missed Flight E in ridiculous (non poker) circumstances, which I'll detail in my diary when I have half an hour to write down. Not sure if my table replicated the standard in the whole tournament but it seemed like the best value I've played in many years. A weird mix of people playing way too tight and way too loose. It was like a throwback to the first few main events I played 15 years ago. Got to nearly 20k from 5k starting when key hand happened. Chip leader (25k+) opened to 800 at 150-300/25. I peeled on button with 55. Flop QQ5. He bet 800, I raised to 2000. He called. Turn 3. He check, I bet 3200, he calls again. River Queen, he now sets me in. I have to fold, right? He showed 44 :( #pwned I hung around for 2 or 3 levels, but finally succumbed at 400-800/100, shoving JT in the cutoff to be called by AJ in BB. So half the stakes are due as refunds, or you can take a piece in tomorrow's $1500 NL if you'd like. Will work out what you get if there's enough interest.
