Playwmynuts who I since discovered has a decent record and seems to be an O8 specialist. Yeah I called fairly quickly and bricked v half-decent AA, but was wondering if anyone would wait for a better spot. It wasn't a re-entry. I don't think you can wait, your hand is top 5% or so and he has played like a nutter. I'd make a note of this hand after. No point in paying him off next time. He is a pretty decent MTT player. Not sure about nowadays but he used to play higher stakes cash O8, played a few big pots with him around 2008/2009.
Against a random who has shoved the hand before I guess a call is fine and I am sure is +ev. Personally I would rather try and find my way into some pots cheaper and chip up and then when my stack allows it start making these calls in the knowledge it isn't for my tourney life.
