Hi all,

For those of you who don't know my name is Rupinder Bedi. Frequent blonde annoyance and play some cards occasionally.

I won a package to Vegas on Sunday and am looking to play two events while I'm out there for a week.

They are:

Event 54: 888 WSOP crazy eights 8 handed. 888,888$ guaranteed for the winner. 5k SS. 30 min levels. 1 hour levels day 2 until completion

Aria WPT 500: 565$ 1 million guarantee. 15k SS. 30 min levels for 8 levels. 40 mins until final which is an hour clock.

Both buy in's add up to 1453. For ease I'm going to round this up to 1500$. (MU is 1.03). I plan to have one bullet at each however if I am doing well in Vegas I may choose to fire another bullet- can you please state when buying if you would be interested in take same % for possible second bullet and I will carry over % and collect money afterward.

I am not saying I'm on the cutting edge of poker and don't take the game as seriously as I used to. I don't study or spend hours chatting to others about spots, hand frequencies, how bad recs are and population tendencies. If that's what you're after then I'm not your guy.

If you want someone who is going to try with all their heart because they still deep down love the game and will give an occasional high pitched inappropriate chuckle then I'm your man. I still believe that I have an edge particularly in these two tournaments.

I'm selling up to 40% at the moment in minimum blocks of 2.5%.

2.5% costs 37.5$ if my maths is correct. I'm locking the exchange rate in now according to xe which is £26.
5% 75$ (£52)
10% 150$ (£104)


Obviously cash in Vegas is also fine if you're out there between 1st and 8th July but I will only accept cash if I know you. Otherwise will require Bank Transfer. I may open up more but will not sell more than 50%. I will be playing regardless of whether I sell out or not.

If we have a huge bink I have no idea how to deal with exchange rate fluctuations or with charges banks may levy. What I will promise is that I'll get the best deal possible and deal with the transaction as quickly as possible. I may also leave a tip if I have a significant win but that will be up to you if you want to take that out of your portion.

Anything outside of the prizepool is mine (endorsements etc) however that is unlikely. If there is a seat added to a bigger event (I don't believe there is) I will roll %s over.

If we go deep in 888 may have to skip WPT but obviously funds will be refunded. If for whatever reason I don't play either event I will either refund or there's a 1k on the 4th July which I will replace an event with and again sort out the extra afterward.

Will also add that unless you bust really early in 888 comp - not worth re-entering as structure is rapid on day one...its the same as colossus i think and that took through 4% of players on the day ones.

Rampant Rupinder

Our man is up to the giddy heights of 15,000 already.

This might just be his day, gl gl.

He can't update at the mo, as I am charging his 'phone, but he'll have it back soon.

Won two decent hands both with T8. One was a pretty big bluff which I'll post up later and the other when I turned the nuts. Got the fold and the call in the right order. Table was v good to start with but has got a bit tougher with an erratic guy who's betting quite big so just treading water a litter atm.

We have 17k atm.

Nice to see Alex and Tony- Alex mentioned the exchange rate which is a fair point- a little early maybe to pre empt it as as issue however just want to sign post back to OP where I'll deal with any fluctuations as best I can based on advice.

Let's hope it's a huge problem to have!

Exchange rate is in your favour if you cash.  Not sure you have anything to worry about.

Losing track of days! Today was the last day of regular structures. Tomorrow are turbo structure (unsure of clock but will find out)

Aria had already pushed 4pm flight back to 5pm and maybe later cos of numbers. This is the latest I would've registered but still plenty of play (for now it is 20 min levels but like yesterday it's a quickish structure)

Table is playing really slow. Got two hands in 10 mins

It's like poker in the old days.

One hand took 6 mins. It's 3 way and pre flop aggressor bets 3400 into 6k.

Sb is in the tank. He reached for his coffee and sips. PF aggressor now sees his lower denom chips which were hidden behind coffee cup!

"He's hiding his chips!" Dealer explains calmly that they're all 25/100 chips probably adding a grand total of 500 to his stack

"He still can't hide em. Get them to push em forward"

Floor is called while all this time Sb is in the tank. Floor rules everything is fine. Sb continues tanking and folds. Other player in hand now shoves for 5600 so another 2200 for pf raiser to call.

He now tanks and tanks and tanks- everyone shakes their head at the table. Pf raiser folds putting guy on two pair.

14k at 200/400

Table continues to play extremely slow mainly down to the gentleman who made all the hoo ha in previous hand. He has now thankfully bust after another 5 min hand.

Break now. 15k at 400/800

I only have another 30 mins of wifi so will update when I've bagged up for day 2

Open A7o to 1800 from cut off. Sb 3 bets we fold.

Next hand open AK from hi jack Sb shoves we call he has A4. We hold. 28k at 400/800

40k at 600/1200 after 33 vs AQ on A388K. Guy folds river face up when I bet pretty big (usually any ace flicks it in for a chop)

Haven't shown many cards think table is getting fed up with me so would be a good time for some cards. Gonna slow down a bit of I don't get them

Quick report on 888. Think Aria comp was pretty much covered. We started 5 handed. 1 solid player and 3 people who looked like tourists.

Pretty solid start. Raised a few hands and a few limps and got up to 6k from 5k starting.

Then opens jacks utg to 325 at 75/150. BB makes it 800 we call.

Axx 2 spade board. C/C

turn is a spade we have Js. He checks again. I bet 450 he calls. Might sound stupid but it was a small bet mainly to get to a cheap river showdown as I was fairly confident he had KK or QQ. May have decided to bet river but probably not a good idea. River was a spade opponent checks pretty quickly so bet 900 for value he calls with two red queens.

We chip up to around 9k without too much trouble and then run the only bluff of the comps.

We open t8ss small and bb call. Flop is 632 one spade.

SB leads for 1/3 pot (think around 350 into 1000) we make it 1100. I don't usually take this line but people lead/fold so much in Vegas just felt like I get a lot of folds here. SB dwells and calls. At this point I'm giving up a lot but the turn brings an As. So now there's an overcard and we have spades. He leads again for 325. I make it 2100. He has around 7k back and dwells and calls.

River is a 5. A6325ss He checks we jam.

Now I rep abs nothing on the river. I can't think of a single value hand I play this way however I recall something pleno said about people playing wsop and they don't wanna go broke with a one pair hand which I'm certain he had. He folds fairly quickly. Phew! Wasn't looking forward to reporting that one if it went tits up but went with my read.

Hand where we get to the heady heights on 18k. Button who had queens before limps. We make up with T8 bb checks. Flop is A97r

I lead 325 bb folds button makes it 900. We peel one

6 ott. We check button make it 1300 we make it 2800 he calls. We jam the 9 river for around 3k effective. Button sighs and calls with A7.

From there we were pretty card and spot dead. I go from 18k to 15k without playing too many hands. Then I open hijack to 900 at 200/400/50 and sb jams for 7800.

It's a pretty close spot but think it's a call. He has queens. Think rest has been documented on here.
