Haven't played an online tournament all year, but with no NFL or football distractions, I thought I'd have a bash at the first few events of WCOOP.

Schedule:


4pm WCOOP 2 $215 NL

5.30pm WCOOP 3 $1050 NL

7pm WCOOP 4 $215 NL

7.35pm $109 Bubble Rush

8pm $22 Mini Sunday Million


I will play the $1050 as a freeze out, but might use re-entries in the other events.

I will call it a $2000 package and obviously refund any money I don't use on entries.


Looking to sell 50% with no mark up.

For the mathmatically challenged

Just for interest, I just had a look at what bubble rush actually was.   It is just hyper turbo with 2 levels for the price of 1 from level 15 and less aggressive antes.   Sort of a hyper turbo/ normal turbo cross, with the normal turbo coming in at level 15.  I was just thinking that doesn't seem so bad, but just clocked the fee which is the same as a normal turbo.  Guess it will be fun for the likes of me, but pretty brutal if you want to make money,

This question will prove how long it has been since I played a Pokerstars tournament..

If I bust out of a tournament and want to re-enter, do I have to do so immediately, or can I wait half an hour or whatever and then re-enter?

You can wait.   Sometimes good to have a breather.  I do it more often then not in the bigger ones.

Decided to pass on this Bubble Rush tournament if no-one minds..

I knew this $1k event was a marathoin event, but didn't realise just how marathon it was!

Will use the $109 to play something alongside the $1k tomorrow and Tuesday (hopefully)

First update:

WCOOP 2: got to the end of re-entries without busting. Got 57k at 800-1600/200
WCOOP 3: running 3 1/2 hours. Started with 50k. Never been above 55k or below 45k. Currently 47k at 100-200/25
WCOOP 4: lost QQ v AA early for half my starting stack. Got it back to 16k (20k starting) at 150-300/40. Still 3 hours left for re entries.

Busted first bullet in WCOOP 4

AK < 44 on K74 flop

WCOOP 3 Haven't won a hand for ages. Down to 38k at 200-400/50
WCOOP 4 Doubled with QQ > AQ. then a guy bluffed off a stack when I flopped a set. 166/4500 got 108k at 500-1000/125
