Hi All,

We've done this on the ESPN website on and off a few times on Blonde, varying between the moneyline and spread comps, usually just for interest.

Now we have a few NFL fans on here I am proposing this year we do the spread comp and make things a bit more interesting by playing for £20 a man. Pretty fun rail and I've done this with my mates for a few years but they've cried off this year citing ridic excuses like "I don't have time", "I'll be busy going on trips to the resevoir with my girlfriend", "you win every year Brent, I can't compete".

The Comp

Make a pick in every match every week against the spread (handicap).

They go off the Vegas lines on a Tuesday for the fortcoming week.

Simple stuff, a point for each one you get right. Failure to make a pick results in an empty "losing" entry.

Entry Details

Starts late tomorrow night (Carolina @ Denver) or if you wish to join after this but risk being a point behind thats fine.

Its been a few years since I used to run the fantasy football on blonde like an absolute ledge but I'm sure the admin here will be slightly easiesr. Register your interest on the thread and I will pm payment details then upon receipt of payments I will send out the league details to join up.

Less than 8 runners: 1st Price paid only winner takes all.

8 or more: 1st and 2nd paid, 70%/30%

15 or more (seems unlikely): 1st, 2nd & 3rd paid, 50%/30%/20%

Only 5 entries in the end, fairly poor effort from Blondes NFL Fans tbh.

Winner takes all it is, with £100 up for grabs.

Only Sheriff predicted last nights game correctly so he takes an early lead.

I'm bang under it with work and other stuff, but don't mind giving that Curtis a head start ;D

It is but the facility was removed after a couple of posters edited op's in staking threads to their own advantage and caused problems

Despite having 6 entries I never received £20 from PokerBroker despite assertions via pm that he had sent. Not sure what to do with this as don't want to call him out but I'm not putting up £40 myself.

Ha, the meal deal and I don't go, I've been trying to live a more healthy lifestyle and it tilts me that the snack on offer in tesco is crisps.  So that is mostly fruit and veg and a pasta and i cook the veg for dinner.  Co-Op meal deal far better than Tesco but I don't have one close to the office.

Irritating that you have to get crisps.  Don't they still do a manky small bag of grapes for 50p you can include?

Not in the local one.  Most disappointing, although they do a nice little Berry Pot for a £1 fire a little bit of natural yogurt on and you are jammig. 

No issues. 

That £200 wel lets just say I still have a Bet Victor account and they are showing no signs of slowing me down.

Do we know if this runs to the end of the regular season. Or all the way to the Superbowl?

End of reg season so Jan 1st (wk 17) will be the end.
