As the winning Captain I would like to put myself forward once again this year. I think it also appropriate that we offer first dibbs to those who played their part in the last one.

Once Tom Brady publishes the details for t-shirts etc I will organise and pay the buyin which I assume will be done on Grosvenor site and arrange collection from you all.

APAT holding tank now open on Grosvenor Poker for team  players to register and pay fee. Geo should have the password to register.

Each team member needs to buyin via the Grosvenor Online Holding Tank - on the Grosvenor Poker software navigate to Tournaments > Grosvenor Live > APAT and you'll find it listed under '11 Mar 14:30' and titled 'UK Team Poker Championship'.  Buyin is £75+£7 (£82) or KP2,526.  The deadline for all team members to individually buy in is 3 Feb 2pm, when the Online Holding Tank will close.

Weekend almost upon us. Michael and I are travelling down tomorrow evening should be in Blackpool 8/9pm.

Had no notifications of any call offs so assuming everyone else is good.

I'll collect the shirts tomorrow and will issue on Saturday.

This was a fun day. 260 players, and much like an old APAT with lots of old friends enjoying themselves. We seem to be putting up the Leicester City of title defences!

Not quite the title defence we'd planned but good to see some familiar faces again.

Thanks to everyone again for making the trip to Blackpool. A  30 minute bashing after the first break where 4 of us dropped was always going to make it almost impossible to get any the top spots.
