Title: PSA: Party Poker Changing VIP Programme. Old points must be used!

I wish Party Poker could give more information about this. Why do players have to suffer and lose point balances just because you want to do an update on your vip system? Why can't you just pay the equivalent value between the two systems?

Because wiping out the points will have a positive impact on their balance sheet?

Agree with Adam, seems kinda scummy. At least Sam Trickett emailed us all personally to tell us how great this idea is though.

I had a look at GVC Holding (Party parent) annual report but they don't appear to quantify the value of the points - Stars coins were a $53m liability for them in Q3 2016.

As long as the new VIP system is better I've got no problem losing a small amount of points as I will spend them before the cut off.
Constant communication as the date gets closer is the key though. A pop up in the client a week before reminding players as well as emails should work.

My entire volume is on Party Poker and I really hope the new VIP system is good

The new system is a lot better, easier to use and more friendly for recs and regs. There will be lots of sales with powerfest series.

Can you justify just removing everyone's points though? Idk, just seems completely unnecessary to me.

How do I actually use these points?

How do I actually use these points?

Promotions>Rewards in the lobby

you can use them for tournament buy ins and cash, depending on your level

for example i used 2000 this sunday and bought into the title fight and a $109 with them,so well worth using rather than losing

there will be plenty of enhanced promotions over powerfest to maximise the value of these points to encourage you to use them before the new scheme replaces them

Title: Party Reward system expressed as a rake back %
Post by: Amatay on April 11, 2017, 03:56:40 PM
Sorry if there's another thread for this?

Just wondered what the rewards are worth as a % in terms of rakeback? I'm thinking of grinding a bunch on Party soon, 4-6 tables of .5/1 fast forward.

Currently if you get to Palladium then you can cash in 4,250 points for $500. Whats that expressed as a rb %?

Trying to figure out what site is optimal for me atm as i've been smashing .5/1 on another site recently with good rewards but the games dont run for long. Party might be better for me.

Oh yeah, and also I read in here that the reward structure is changing soon so how will that affect the %

Cheers

Been playing a few sessions on Party to make Palladium this month, glad I won't have to to realise full value. Will this sale last until 22nd? Just double checking so I don't wait and lose out or buy and miss out on a better sale. Very happy to see this so early!
