Title: Poker in Belfast Post by: Paul_Foulder on August 09, 2017, 08:23:22 PM Hi guys,
I'm in Belfast this weekend with work & was wondering if there is any places that run live cash games in the evenings? 1/1 1/2 NLHE would be my preference. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Paul Title: Re: Poker in Belfast Post by: TightEnd on August 09, 2017, 08:25:42 PM Live poker is illegal in northern Ireland.

It was part of the old cineplex, which had been turned into a bingo hall, iirc.
2007 was the last time I was in Ni, so can't for the life of me remember :D Title: Re: Poker in Belfast Post by: LOJ on August 10, 2017, 10:24:26 AM Pretty sure there is a game in 147 sooker culb in Omagh. Played there a few times when i worked for an NI business. Not sure if its still running or not. used to get 40+ runners. Buy in £20. No idea if it still exists - I doubt it somehow. Police raids were the norm, & it always felt a bit edgy there. Here's an MTT result from there, way back in 2007. Few familiar blasts from the past here..... http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/event.php?a=r&n=15049 Title: Re: Poker in Belfast Post by: tikay on August 10, 2017, 10:36:41 AM This was a real weird one - it was £100,000 Guaranteed to the winner, but the Prize Pool was only £123,000. So when the Final started, with the inevitable seriously top heavy Prize Structure, (100k to the winner, £23k divvied up amongst the other 9) Paul Jackson, who was the chippy at the table, suggested they re-distribute the Prize Pool. He then went & won it, taking home just £30,000. http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/event.php?a=r&n=10819 Title: Re: Poker in Belfast Post by: Marky147 on August 10, 2017, 03:18:51 PM Used to be a cardroom in Bangor, which had a small cash game, and tourneys most nights.
