Post by: RED-DOG on December 16, 2017, 08:43:04 PM
I know it's in the UK. It looks familiar but I just can't place it.

It's a very grand set of buildings, wherever it is.

It's just the location for a TV programme I'm watching, it's seems to be in England, somewhere North of Watford IMO.

Found it.

Saw a pub with an unusual name, googled the pub, found the location.

I know I could have Googled the TV prog but that would have deffo brought up a spoiler.

it was either a court or a town hall, so eventually found it.  That particular town holds fond and distant memories of Janet and Julie and a school trip to the lake district many years ago.  I even remastered the pop song Vincent after them.

Starry Starry night
Sleeping in the dormitree
Then in thru the window came
Janet and Julie

Where is it then? My first thought was Birmingham...

Is the next verse fit for publication?

PM me please, too. Looks a splendid building, and it's driving me mad not knowing.

Certainly an impressive building and apparently well over budget, given that the architects name was William Hill, I'm surprised it wasn't restricted.
