Title: pokerstars watch Post by: ukpkrpro on July 18, 2018, 02:12:43 PM Hi
Before Pokerstars got rid of their fpp system and replaced it with the terrible chest system they used to offer a pokerstars edition citizen eco watch to exchange for fpp. I am looking to buy one if anybody has one in unused or good condition Thanks for your time Terry P Title: Re: pokerstars watch Post by: Marky147 on July 18, 2018, 02:17:48 PM Spooky!
I was looking on eBay before I went away, with a view to sell mine 😂😂 Never been worn, other than when it was taken out of the box on delivery. Title: Re: pokerstars watch Post by: UgotNuts on July 18, 2018, 04:19:05 PM If a price cannot be agreed I would like to bid!
Will be a nice addition to my collection. Title: Re: pokerstars watch Post by: Marky147 on July 18, 2018, 04:31:43 PM I've got no idea what it's worth, but some bloke that had one on youtube tried telling me €500, which seemed a lot.
Title: Re: pokerstars watch Post by: UgotNuts on July 18, 2018, 04:38:17 PM There is one going on EBAY (Germany) for 250 EUROS. I was going to offer around £250 for it if that helps.
Title: Re: pokerstars watch Post by: ukpkrpro on July 18, 2018, 06:03:28 PM the equivelant citizen watch retails at £75 obviously the pokerstars symbol bumps that up
The modovo and Tag pokerstars watches which were given to SCOOP and WCOOP winners go for around £500 The last citizen pokerstars watch on Ebay went for £110 I had bid £100 with the intention of bidding again if necessary when auction was finishing but I got distracted and missed it I was hoping to pay £150 or less but looks like you may have a customer at a better price I obviously have the same luck off the tables as on them at the moment Good Luck Terry P Title: Re: pokerstars watch Post by: Marky147 on July 18, 2018, 06:24:24 PM I never knew they gave Tags out, too!
Be lucky, Terry! There is one going on EBAY (Germany) for 250 EUROS. I was going to offer around £250 for it if that helps. I thought he may have given me the 500, as he was hoping I was a buyer. If you don't manage to secure a sale or if anybody else has one for sale I have money here I don't want to do anybody out of any money but I can only justify spending £150ish I am waiting for 2+2 to approve my post on their marketplace maybe I will have better luck there Good Luck at the tables Terry P Title: Re: pokerstars watch Post by: RED-DOG on July 18, 2018, 09:34:16 PM If a price cannot be agreed I would like to bid! Will be a nice addition to my collection. ^^^^^ In my world this is called stepping on someone's toes and is much frowned upon. this is not a criticism BTW, just an observation. It seems fine by Joe Public so who am I to judge. Title: Re: pokerstars watch Post by: nirvana on July 18, 2018, 09:38:17 PM Wait a second here.... people pay more because it's pokertars branded ?
Title: Re: pokerstars watch Post by: ukpkrpro on July 18, 2018, 10:01:12 PM haha RED DOG
In my World too mate believe me Obviously I wasn't too pleased to see that post but you cant expect the guy with the watch for sale to ignore a better offer Good Luck at the tables Terry P Title: Re: pokerstars watch Post by: UgotNuts on July 19, 2018, 09:26:36 AM If a price cannot be agreed I would like to bid! Hence saying if Terry and Mark don't agree a price I would bid for it. it is hardly jumping to the front. With respect, you made it known that there was another interested party which obviously affects the perceived value and weakens the original perspective buyer's bargaining position. You also revealed how much you were willing to pay before the first guy had any chance to negotiate a price. I know I shouldn't comment, it's really nothing to do with me. I promise to try to keep my trap shut in future. Title: Re: pokerstars watch Post by: UgotNuts on July 19, 2018, 10:03:15 AM That is a fair point Red-Dog- I shouldn't have taken the bait and opened the bidding.
I only did so as Mark commented on a youtuber pricing it at 500 EURO. Title: Re: pokerstars watch Post by: tikay on July 19, 2018, 10:04:36 AM I think it's best if we all blame Marky147. Title: Re: pokerstars watch Post by: RED-DOG on July 19, 2018, 10:09:53 AM Oh well.... In for a penny...
This is how it should work. Somone declares an interest in buying an item. I am also interested in buying said item but didn't know it was available or had not been first to declare an interest. I don't say anything to the seller but I do ask the prospective buyer to let me know if he doesn't buy the item or alternately, how much he wants to stand down and let me try to buy it. If he does buy the item, I ask him how much profit he wants on it. It's old school stuff though, probably doesn't make much sense these days. Title: Re: pokerstars watch Post by: ukpkrpro on July 19, 2018, 03:22:46 PM No offence taken
At the end of the day if Mark gets £250 for it then fair play to all involved As far as value goes it is worth what people are willing to pay for it The guy who said £500 was either dreaming or trying to con you into buying his The watch is a £75 citizen eco with a pokerstars motif The question is how much is that motif worth to somebody To me I was willing to double the price of the watch and pay £150 I have seen a couple sell in the last year one for £90 one for £110 so my offer of £150 is a fair one in my opinion I need a new watch but as much as I would like the pokerstars edition I cant justify paying £250 for a £75 watch As long as both the buyer and seller are happy I can live with that Good Luck at the tables Terry P Title: Re: pokerstars watch Post by: celtic on July 19, 2018, 03:36:56 PM Surely the poker motif on it DECREASES it's value?
Title: Re: pokerstars watch Post by: StuartHopkin on July 19, 2018, 03:56:50 PM Surely the poker motif on it DECREASES it's value? Absolutely this Title: Re: pokerstars watch Post by: ukpkrpro on July 19, 2018, 04:03:31 PM Funny you should say that
The Tag that was given to Scoop winners a couple of years ago comes up for sale every now and then for around £500 The most I have seen one go for is £650 The exact same model without the pokerstars motif sells for £900 all day Good Luck at the tables Terry P Title: Re: pokerstars watch Post by: byronkincaid on July 19, 2018, 04:25:32 PM If anyone's got a crappy old Rolex with COMEX written on the dial I'll give you 50 quid for it.
Title: Re: pokerstars watch Post by: ukpkrpro on July 19, 2018, 05:14:46 PM I would stretch to £250 for a submariner comex
