While everyone experiences different side-effects to differing degrees, eating healthily seems to be good general advice for preventing nausea. Preventing it is a lot better than dealing with it. Bumped into him randomly in Blackpool G just a couple of months ago, where he was dining with some old mates, and he was his usual cheerful self, so this is quite a shock. RIP Marty Great bloke, used to see him quite a bit when I was playing a lot, and at fast car's tourneys when he worked for Matchroom. Hadn't seen him for ages, but was plotted up at Claude's in the Nugget a couple years back, and Marty wandered past with a couple guys he was with from home. Such an amazing presence in a room, he could hold court with the best of them. I worked a few events with him as a journalist/blogger and it was always a joy. To those of us who remember the TV events from the 'golden era' of 2005-2009 ish, on all the made for TV UK poker shows there was invariably a qualifier from Bridgnorth.
