Title: Who stole all my sheep
Post by: Mark_Porter on March 10, 2019, 10:13:45 AM
Last year 9,635 sheep were stolen. This came from 381 separate reported incidents.

That is an average of 25.3 sheep stolen in each incident.

Only 1 charge was brought by police all year.

Where have all these sheep gone?

No one's been able to wake the investigating officer.

Nice work by Tal.

On a serious note this is really awful. It's basically people stealing sheep and then selling them on at their local pub or wherever.

God only knows what awful conditions / torture the poor things must go through before they end up on someone's plate for a few quid less than they'd pay at a butchers.

I know they're all destined for the dinner plate regardless but at least there's some form of welfare standard for the ones slaughtered properly.

Very sad.
