I was surprised it was so low because didnt he win £10m+ in one event once as well as several majors?   i am not a golf expert at all but i was surprised it was as low as it was.

I fell a tad foul of this, but still would have been way off.

As its from pgatour.com it's only taking his PGA tour events into consideration, so $55m from that, also has ~$38m from European tour events which wouldn't have been included

I was thinking he won $15m in that, but a lot of the others wouldn't be anywhere near as big.  I knew The Open was nowhere near, but probably underestimated the others as there are a lot of big pots out there.  I didn't allow anything for place money, which I only thought about after I entered.  

The Open 1st prize will probably be around $2M* the next time they play it imho as will other majors.


*My golf guesstimates have proved to be substantially inaccurate recently.
