We've been having some semi-success over on the Sports board with this so here's the non-sporting version to fill the week long wait for the RSQ. Couple of days to enter.

Really straight forward, just send me your guess for each question and your score is your distance from the answer. Winner is the person with the lowest score after 10 questions.

in several dodgy questions.  What spec of the iphone 8 memory wise they have different prices right?  on field earnings for messi or total earnings?  

Granted the iPhone one is slightly iffy but it's the first price it's advertised at on the site - maybe with it being older it only comes in one memory now, no idea but didn't see multiple prices.

Messi question definitely not dodgy - football earning and sponsorships are all paid to him so don't see an issue.

I read it as football wages. My answer will be way out then.

I answered Messi question on football salary, that is what I assumed the question meant. Wasn't stated that non football earnings to be included, so quite ambiguous

I'm no hater but I think if it said how much did he earn rather than how much was he paid then it would be very clear. Paid sounds like a salary, ie paid by Barca to play football.

Thanks for entering the quiz, a good number of entries so should be an interesting reveal.

Quite a few people have questioned some of the questions so I am going to clarify some and allow people to resend any individual questions they wish to change.

Apologies for any confusion.

2. This is the Dundee to London question. The question is asking the distance when travelling by road.

4. This is the first price that is shown on the website for an Apple iPhone 8, so I assume is for a general model. Or it may just come in at one price.

8. This is Messi's total earnings (what he has been paid) for 2019 as listed by Forbes so includes all endorsements.

9. This is someone from the UK winning a lottery jackpot. There's no tricks, they aren't from the UK but living in America and won a billion. Standard National Lottery or EuroMillions.

With this in mind I have delayed the reveal until tomorrow at 4pm.

I do understand that there was some ambiguity in a couple of questions so apologies. The Messi one intentional but Dundee-London one not so.

This'll more than likely be the lowest scoring question on average. Clooney the oldest at 58, with Pitt not far behind at 56, and Damon the baby at 49. A lot of low scorers but it is jakally who takes an early lead. Ironside, who has been showing an upturn in form in the sporting versions, scores 23 to sit at the bottom after question 1.

My hometown of Dundee all the way down to London, the other city that I've lived in, albeit briefly, is a total of 471 miles. Some trek. Ironside does a flip flop and goes from the worst answer on the first question to the best answer on this one. A lot of other scores under 50 which is good going. Not so good for Cf, 4KSuited and Juperjiper who in one way or the other underestimated the difference.

Some familiar names from the sporting board at the top after two questions with only 2 points separating the top 5. Rubbish, who was desperate for the reveal to begin, takes a 1 point overall lead. Could potentially already be a long way back for the guys in the bottom 5 who are 41 points behind the next player.

One of our factories is in Dundee. I like the place and the people. Here's a great anecdote - was watching something on TV the other day and the V & A building was in the backdrop, enjoyed seeing it as a point of recognition but can't remember the programme - told you it was a good anecdote :-)

I actually think we'd discussed you and Dundee before. I've never been to the V&A, it's quite an impressive looking building though and seems to have driven people here.

That is not a misprint, Celtic has ventured in to the top 5! He's still some way behind leader KarmaDope who vitally smashed the last question and has a 79 point lead. Does KarmaDope have this wrapped up? Incredible performance so far with one question to go. Rubbish2407 has sneaked a lead over TightEnd in 2nd with Sonour and Ironside filling out the top 5. Bit of a gap now to Bergeroo in 6th. He just never slipped up at any point and that has to be one of the most impressive quizzing performances in Blonde history by KarmaDope as he absolutely cruises it. Rubbish2407 and TightEnd also scored well throughout and take 2nd and 3rd. Sonour had an early slip up but finished very strongly to finish 4th with Ironside taking the final winners' spot. Well done all. Commiserations to the 5 who ended up in the losers' section with Juperjiper falling in there after the last question. There was never any way back for Nirvana.
