Hi all,

I've set up the Blonde Poker Leagues for the coming season. The list of leagues is below.

Deadline for entries to all leagues, apart from LMS and Cups package, is Friday, August 13th, 1pm BST


1) Blonde 100 Classic (Open to All)

2) Blonde 50 Classic (Open to BP members of >3 months and >10 posts only)

3) Blonde 20 Classic (Open to BP members of >3 months and >10 posts only, if you enter the £100 Classic you can't enter this league. I am only in this league for admin purposes)

4) Blonde 20 Last Man Standing (Open to all - lowest score is eliminated each week)

5) Blonde Cups 35 (Open to All) There will be a Champions League (£15), an FA Cup (£10), a League Cup (£5) and an FPL League Cup, Cup* (£5).

6) Blonde 10 H2H (Open to All, 80% of pot for regular season, 20% for playoffs - top eight qualify)

7) Blonde 20 H2H (Open to All, 80% of pot for regular season, 20% for playoffs - top eight qualify)

8. Blonde 50 H2H (Open to All, 80% of pot for regular season, 20% for playoffs - top eight qualify)

9). Make Fantasy Great Again - 10 Classic: (open to all)

For this, you'll need another team via a secondary email address or ask a family member to sign up. The rules are exactly the same as normal, except you can only select players who qualify to play for Great Britain or Ireland. No Bruno, no Salah, no KDB.

*New for 2021 - FPL has introduced the option for you to add a cup to any Classic League you run. This is what I've done for all the Classic Leagues except the Blonde 20 as me being part of that league for admin will mess that up. For all classic leagues, the league cup winner will get their buy-in back.

FPL Draft:

I will run as many leagues as we fill. I will reserve spots for regular players in League I as players entering and then losing interest negatively affects the leagues.

LMS starts next saturday the 18th?

Correct LMS starts GW18, which begins on Saturday.

everything is going to be a mess with games getting called off left right and centre at last minute due to covid glad my team sucks this season saves me getting annoyed when kane starts scoring now i have dropped him from captaincy and team

another game called off tonight hours before kick off think i am going to phone mystic meg before picking my team for next week :-)

well at-least this weekends games have been called off before the start of the game week pity i used my wildcard before the mid week games

this seasons wont finish on schedule unless all the English teams get knocked out of Europe in the next round

Half of the weekend's fixture have gone already.

Not sure if there's an alternative solution for LMS, but it's potentially going to be a lottery of which games go ahead for the next few weeks.

One solution is to postpone the start of LMS until GW22 (Jan 14th) and then eliminate two players a week for the first four weeks.

I'll think about it and post a decision before the first game of this week kicks off.

I understand different players are going to be affected in different ways, based on your exposure to players from the games postponed, but most players will be in a similar situation.

Ok, I’ve made a decision to postpone the start of LMS to GW22 (Jan 14th). It’ll mean double eliminations for a few weeks but I believe that’s a fairer solution than starting it this gameweek. Of course, if the situation is still unstable by GW22 we can reassess that start date.

forest badgers posted the lowest score, with 107. It’s tough when you make the hundo club but still bust.

Alverton (Sam Morris) finishes as runner-up. Yet again I’ve managed to screw this league up and not have it finish on the final week.

When the dust has settled on GW38 I’ll list all the prize winners in this thread and start sending out the money and DM those whose details I need. If you sent by PayPal I’ll send back via PayPal. If you sent by bank I’ll send back by bank etc etc.

Prizes are listed in the screenshot. There's a non zero chance there's human error in the prizes so if you've won something please cross-check this screenshot with that on page one. I will start sending out prizes and DMs tonight and update the status column as I go.

Maybe Nick has a date and time in mind already.

From memory it was 8pm and 9pm on a week night just before the season.

Since we are starting late.... the later the better the date if it hasn't already been decided.

What about Thursday the 4th? The day before the season begins.

not sure i will be in any of the fantasy this season think i need a season out of it didnt enjoy it last year (maybe it was just the covid crap)

Re: draft - I’d been planning to run them on Wednesday 3rd August.

However, obviously if that day is impossible for a high percentage of those involved then we can do it on the Monday or Tuesday. Selfishly I’d prefer not to run them on the Thursday as it tends to be the busiest night for sending out codes for the regular leagues. But if Thursday is the consensus then we can certainly run them on that night.

Wednesday 3rd sounds good to me
