Title: Sad news for Nottingham poker regulars. Post by: tikay on August 17, 2021, 09:30:04 PM I was sent this message by a friend today, he had seen it on Facebook;
I have unfortunately some very sad news, Dave Nisbet great friend and regular at DTD and not to mention the best golf day organisers passed away on Friday afternoon. He was playing Golf at Beeston Fields in the morning and collapsed. I’m waiting to hear the funeral details and if restrictions are in place. A true gentleman and story teller, he will be sadly missed our thoughts go out to his family. Nick + the team at DTD Hard to imagine a nicer fellow. Many of you will know him from DTD, some of you will even remember him from the Gala Notts days. Never seen him get upset with anyone, & was always polite & friendly. Just a genuinely nice bloke. Dave was a very keen poker player, loved being at Gala and DTD and loved his golf. I actually went on a trip to St Andrews with him about 10 years ago and I can promise you, he had some stories!
