Its a 30gbp Double Chance Freezeout
As far as I can remember the structure wasnt announced beforehand for BB1.
I think we had 2500 starting chips with an option of another 2500 at any time in the first 3 levels. Levels were 20 mins.

I would imagine it wouldnt be to far removed from this although it is dependant on numbers & if the field has to be split.
BB1 comp had to finish by 3.30 but in Cin Cins there is no time restriction.

Somebody mentioned to me that they were pissed off at the amount of peeps that sign up and make one post confirming their registration in the blonde bash.

I pointed out that a lot of the newbies were +1's. Partners of exisiting blonde members.

Also, I think if someone makes the efort to attend then they should be more than welcome, regardless of the number of posts they have made. They may be regular readers of the forum, who are too shy to post. Perhaps they've had bad experiences on other forums, or mistakingly believe that they have nothing to contribute (post your ovengloves, it's all good)

One of the great things about blonde is that it is not clique. As we continue to grow, we need to remember how we were welcomed when we joined the forum. Just because we were lucky enough to find blonde earlier than others, does not mean we have any more right to attend the blondebash than someone who just heard about it yesterday.

If blonde becomes clique then it's a sad day indeed. I know Ironside was only joking with his Sauchiehall street, football shirt comment. I just hope others do aswell and aren't put off by it. Please everyone, don't feel shy about posting just coz you're new.

Hi everyone - I'm one of these "newbie" members who's signed up, not posted much and attending the blonde bash.  I also replied to Ironside's post about Sauchiehall street, football shirt comment etc but I took it in the way it was intended (as a joke?!?).....

Anyway, thanks to Tank for looking out for us newbies - it can be slightly daunting starting to post since you guys seem to all know each other so well - it can be difficult to break into that circle, but everyone seems friendly and Im sure in time as I (and other newvies) post more we will get to know ppl! Anyway, for the avoidance of doubt I'm DC (no not Dave Colclough - he's not as good as I am  :D ... honest!) and hope to get to know ppl and meet some of you at the blonde bash (I will be the one p***ing away my chips so you'll all want to be at my table!)

I am also one of those newbie's who managed to get my name down for the bash. Haven't posted much on here because of work, and i've never
joined a forum before so wanted to see what it was all about before i started shoving my opinions down all your throats.

I've been playing on line for about a year now and decided i wanted to try the live stuff. I live in Glasgow so trecked round all the casino's for a
game, but to be honest, the best game and fairest is definately at cincins. Decent chips to start with, decent blinds, decent players, decent
everything. All the others are just crapshoots, which i've been involved in a few as you can tell from the name. The nerves were going a bit on
the first night at cincins but everybody was so friendly and welcoming they made me feel at home straight away.

So in reply to whoever dosent like the idea of newbie's being at the bash because they've only post once, you know what they say:

"IF YOUR NOT FAST YOU LAST"

Tidus if you play the first flight, you will be playing with the rest of uas scots and most of the cincins regulars.

plus you can get 3 to 4 hours between the first flight and the final, for a few beers

Even though most of you will be consuming many "few beers" during both the 1st flight and the final flight anyway!!

I prefer to play in the earlier flight if possible so if i get knocked out early i can still get train back to Killie even after going for a few beers!!

Steph after we left, (8 players remaining) they played for a further hour till the bubble finally burst and they made the top 7 money places, i believe Gerry was roughly joint 4 / 5 / 6th ish.

Blinds were 10,000 / 20,000 !!!!!!!!!

so they all agreed on a 7-way deal

The top two got the most, since they were 70,000 infront of the field, and the rest split a very healthy amount.

Gery was pleased with the deal, so looks like it worked out ok.

Not bad for his first live tourney (AYE RIGHT!!!!!!)
