Mad M3 has just been involved in two significant hands.

Firstly he had AK all in preflop against QQ. A king flopped and Ash doubled up.

Then he got involved with Christian Ulrikson.

Ash raised 1200 preflop, which Christian called.

The flop was 6s 9c 2d

Ash bet 1200, Christian made it another 2,600. Ash rereraised another 4,500 and Christian went all in. Ash thought for a very long time, until eventually the clock was called. Ash eventually folded when Thomas Kremsner annoinced the 10 second warning.

He's back to about 14k now.

Andras Hagen has doubled through off agressive Danish player, Mads Anderssen.

For those of you who don't know, Mads eliminated Julian from the Scandinavian Open by reraising Yoyo preflop with T-5 off. He then went on to win the whole comp. He's ultra-agressive, but not foolish, so he knows when to attack.

He got it wrong this time though.

Ok the poker stars battleship comp starts in 10 minutes.

It's a 32 player headsup comp, played on laptops but sat opposite your opponent.

The Rookie is giving it a go, i will try to keep an eye on it.

Looks like they're preparing the feature table for action. I'd love to see Mrs Merton on here, but Jen's not overly keen. She's promised me amateur dramtics though if she ends up on there.

I have just had a €5 last longest bet with Rolf Slotbloom from Pokerpages.com. I took Jen and said he could pick anyone else he liked. After refusing the bet a couple of times he eventually cracked and decided to take it. Rolf stayed loyal and plumped for compatriot Marcel Luske.

Joe Hachem v Erland.

Erland has 1200 to Joe's 2800. I just caught it on the flop - Erland was all-in with AA and Joe had K5 diamonds. The flop had two diamonds, with an Ace falling on the turn. Unfortunately for Erland it was the blue one (aren't four colour decks great?) and the failure of the board to pair on the river sent the reigning world champ through to the next round.

Here is a photo from the World Championship of Battleship Poker, which was held at the Atlantis Casino (Bahamas) in January as part of the WPT PokerStars Caribbean Adventure.

Isabelle lost that first round match (pictured here) against reknowned online player SDouble (Josh Schlein), who finished second to Freddy Deeb in the WPT UltimateBet.com Aruba Poker Classic last September. I also played in that historic event, but other than having the distinction of being the first player to play on an Apple PowerBook (using Virtual PC), I only made it as far as the second round before busting myself.

While I'm sad that Isabelle is out of the big tournament, I'm pleased that she has already made it to the second round of the Battleship event in Monte Carlo. Go NoMercy!

Watching Jen play the streets on tv is so surreal.

All this was viewed from the moniter in the press room.

Anthony raises preflop to around 4.5k, Jen calls.

Jen bets 6k, Anthony makes a quick call.

Jen sticks in 12k.

Anthony causes Jen's viewers to agonise in the press room as he counts out his chips 2 or 3 times. At one point, he even considers a reraise.

Eventually, although reluctant, he makes the call.

The TV camera didn't give us too much time to see the cards, but I'm pretty sure Jen flashed pocket dueces, whilst Chessa most likely had an ace.

Jen looks dejected. She clearly isn't particularly comfortable with playing on the final table, a concern that she expressed during the break.

One thing she wasn't happy about was exposing her cards.

She's lost another pot now, against Marcel.  Jen bet 5,500, Marcel called.
