A most pleasing & pleasant Update, thanks Tighty, & Kev.

Within seconds of Richard winning the Final hand - & the very second after Richard had shook hands with the wily old Alan McLean, Willie Tann was at Richard Gryko's side, warmly congratulating him. Nice touch, that.

Lol never misses a trick.

Play begins at 2pm. Expecting a bigger field today, so things will be busy

In the meantime, while I wend my way down the M1, on at J12 past Toddington services and then the straight section with Dunstable and the North Downs on my right, Luton and Leagrave and the Vauxhall factory on my left, before turning off at J11 and along Hatters way behind the football ground, up the dual carriageway past the Days Inn and into the car Park

Please consider this:

Jeff Kimber made it through yesterday and returns tomorrow. He asked on his facebook this morning for his friends to make suggestions for what he could do with a completely free day in Luton.

What would you suggest to him?

Ignore him obv levelling the sick fk will be in the £100 tonight without doubt.

More info required of particular importance is average stack. Assuming you arent short here as you've played it you could quite easily pass worst case you could find yourself 3 way with only 6 or even as few as 4 live outs if some of them are in oppo's hands. Of course you could find yourself heads up with 14 outs but that seems unlikely.
I don't really like the flop check my normal line would be bet/price myself in to call the shove/bink. The problem is we don't know what the flop leader is going to do and we could of given ourselves a lot more information by leading ourselves. What was thought process behind checking, were you hoping to check shove/bink for free?

Lol at thread pretty horrible call pre reraise or pass. Once you see flop how can there be any other play than shove.
158  Poker Forums / Poker Hand Analysis / Re: omaha hand mtt on: July 30, 2009, 03:22:42 PM
Ok as played i guess down the streets although i much prefer raise pot on flop trying to get it in for stacks almost certain no one has aces here so im happy even getting it in 3 way.
Horrible limp pre though this short handed and almost certainly cost you the pot as a good thinking player is folding filthy akxx non nut flush type hands pre to a pot sized raise. I like min raising pre when you're not deep enough to profitably call full pot reraises thus keeping their pot reraise size smaller, but youre plenty deep enough here against most of the stacks and happy to get it in pre against the 2 baby stacks as their rr range ought to be wider than aaxx.

Barely worth a reply but yes SUPER STD. Maybe less so at these stakes but you don't even have to be up against the top of his range of a set or the nuts, many pair/2 pair and str8/worse flush draw combinations that would also get it in here hoping you just have bare aces and fold or they hit when you call.

Spam! Interview with the man himself with his audition video.

Pitch was better (ie. more professional) than I expected but he made quite a few bold claims which might have worked against him.

I think it went down as expected, less holes in his presentation than your article Barry! Better check it seems one answer missing completely and another that makes no sense.
