I thought that Pab's 6th for $82k was a cracking result for a 21 year-old in his first Vegas adventure. There are still thousands of hands still to be played - maybe a Brit will win the biggie. Have to say John Gale's results are very impressive, I am however not anywhere near qualified enough to say whether one player 'is any better' than any other.

Its comments like that which make people doubt your preferences Flushy, Ginger I think you need to have a word, just to confirm where you stand with this fellow.

Don't belive I am sticking up for Flushy - but he is only quoting somebody else there

Situated in the High Gosforth Park Estate just two minutes from the A1 and only five miles from Newcastle City Centre, Parklands Golf Complex has the reputation of being the friendliest as well as one of the best in the North of England.

Amongst the Complex's many features are a Driving Range , an eighteen hole golf course, a nine hole pitch & putt course and a practice putting green. Add to that the Bar and restaurant and a well stocked shop and we have everything in place to satisfy the needs of golfers of all abilities.

The floodlit driving range is one of the biggest and busiest in the Country with 45 bays on two levels, 30 downstairs and 15 upstairs, and last year alone over 10,000,000 golf balls were hit on the Range by over 135,000 golfers. It is open from 8.30 am to 10.00 pm everyday of the year apart from New Year's Day and Christmas Day. The new addition of three purpose built targets means we are now able to hold Target Golf events on the Range all year round, which can be designed to fit any size of group of golfers of any standard from beginners to single figure golfers.

At just over 6,000 yards it's not the longest course you will play but with Out of Bounds on 11 holes, and water in play on 10, accuracy is vital. Parklands is already one of the busiest courses in the area and is rapidly gaining a reputation as the fast improving course in the area.

Membership levels have increased by over 50% since 2002 and new members are welcomed. For joining details please download the application form.

As well as the driving range and golf course the nine hole pitch and putt is ideal for less experienced golfers or families. Hire clubs are available from the club shop.

By the time the 4Nations comes around we will not be using youtube, Game for Life / Poker4Charity / ICHUC will have its own web/pod broadcast facilities and improved production facilities. This will be financed by corporate sponsorship and advertising, thus increasing the funds raised for charity whilst keeping the service free to users.

Thank you to everybody for your positive feedback and for making Kev a global superstar.
