83 whoop

Good job given I work in risk!

Pretty simple test really, if you dont know put 50% if you know for sure then 0% or 100% accordingly, if you have an inckling go 40%-60% each way.

Im not sure the hand reveal is the be-all proof that the question requires. Since when has result orientated thinking been the key to making decisions in replicated situations going forward?

I see what you are saying but in all honesty I dont see a fold.

A tv researcher tells me that for the first time ever the audience are signing contracst to limit the questions asked to those vetted before the show. Ordinarily they file there questions and are chosen, with free development of each question no strings. Interesting to see how rigid it will come over?

It sickens me the people who say he shouldnt be on, like in some way if we are exposed to racist propaganda that we wil all somehow convert to the third reich....that ignorance is only marginally more insulting than the media bias towads discounting the fact BNP were democratically elected

I will pose the question tommorow, I only know the dollar position because I ahd to hedge a bunch earlier today

Update - I have just got a text from a colleague who thinks there is talk of pressure on the ECB to conveen in the coming weeks to drop the interest rate, which will devalue the euro further vs the pound

just wrote a long reply. then realised its kinda pointless. If you are talking about thinking one step ahead in a hand, yeah thats the best option by far, otherwise, ur gonna get exploited. That said, just because you have a plan, doesnt mean you shouldnt take into account other factors such as timing/chat/etc when making the next decision. Thats just dumb.

also, fwiw 99 is a hand u should deffo 3b to be snapping a jam because it plays well v 4b jamming ranges. Something like AJ could be a 3b fold, IF villain was exploitable enough that you know a 4b means u are DEF crushed for example (live poker 5 years ago for example).

def agree on the jamming call. when the villain is in position but chooses to jam it reads more like a range wieghted towards unmade hands or small pairs hoping for fold equity - which we obv kill

flatting pre-flop and inviting a multi-way pot is not my line tbh
with a fairly dry hand im looking to take it down early or at least gain control of the flop and not face dificult decisions that are expensive to find out where you are
9  Poker Forums / Poker Hand Analysis / Re: Another PLO flop decision on: October 20, 2009, 11:24:20 PM
anyone who folds the flop here is mental imo
why are we giving credit for any made hand betting OOP
why do we just not see that hes chipped up and can be having a stab?
clearly no value in raising, I flat and re-assess on turn but most likely its going in

Dollar position is expected to weaken, so will be worth less

I know local councillors and party representatives who have support for the 'Super Casino' project coming back.

I would not expect much change to the tax structure either, it will be way down the line of priorities and the broader perception seems to be there is little to no value in funds generated anyway vs administrative burden.

The message I get from our currency brokers in canary wharf is that 2/3 wk spread will be similar but we expect budget disclosures and some large NYSE results in the coming 6-8 weeks which could impact on the strength of the dollar, as will the continued resurgance of crude oil prices. On this basis I would expect approx 10/15% swing come December.
