I have infinite patience live, never tilt, great temperament, good concentration

Online (whether because there are distractions?) I'm not as patient and I get riled up more

How do I get the dicipline in my online game that I have live? If I knew the answer to that.....

Exactly the same as me. Lack of concentration online.

Since playing live (mostly £100 and over buy in MTT's), my online game has gone to pot - I am break even/small profit online where I used to make F/T more often than not.
My live game however is very profitable.

I know that both need to be approached in a different way, but still find it hard to do even though I know they should be played different.

This used to bother me, but as I enjoy live more and more, I do not let the online game affect my live game.

I posted something similar to this somewhere to ask how many players do well both live and online. I remember Mark Bannin telling me he was the same, either doing well online and bad live or visa versa.

Bottom line for me is - as long as I a doing well in one of them, I dont let it bother me too much.

Since playing live, I also now find it hard to keep concentration online and tend to make a huge mistake and blow my stack when into the money.

Hope this helps

Does help to win Races though. If it is the person I think it was.

I went out 20th with QQ vs his AK - he said that he had won all of his AK races that week!!

Nice one anyway, GREAT RESULT!!

PS Do you like the bracelet?

Nice touch of the Casino there I thought (along with the others already mentioned) They gave away a Gold Bracelet to the winner. I thought this was an omen for me as I discovered on the Saturday while playing that I had lost my one?!?
lol

Big thanks to everyone for last night.

Unfortunately, I exited just as we were down to two tables.

I had been struggling all night and indeed both me and hassan were the short stacks (hovering around the 12k mark for most of the competition)

I went down to 7000 with blinds 1k and 2k. Found pok 8's (one of the button) and had to get risky and get chips. I know if i go all in, they probably fold so i took a risk and just doubled the bet to 4k. Both the SB and BB called. (so now 12k in the pot) Flop came 10 4 2. I move all in SB folds and BB calls with Q2 - My pok 8's hold up and I now have 18k (the most I have had all tourney).

Its now 4am and I have nowhere to stay, the only hotels were £100 a night and you had to be out by 12. I found AQ in early position and made it 6k to play (practically committing myself). A late position goes all in. Now I am sure he has a pok pair and decide to get involved in a race. He had pok 9's and they held up. If I hit A or Q there I would of been on 39k (av of 30k) with 18 or so left.

Not to be, but enjoyed the experience. Too tight to pay the £100 for a room, so drove home at 4.30am Sad

Great to meet faces again.

GL to DC today - he was stacked up when I left.

Hi

I am planning to travel up today to play in the £750 comp, but have left the membership too late Sad

Would anyone there, or going to be there, be willing to sign me in as a guest?

TIA!
