Haven't posted since 2017, but I'm absolutely here for this! Loved the catchup, and a really rare insight into a side of the game us mere mortals will never see.

Would actually be fascinated to know the action in this hand

Flop checks 3 ways
Turn Quads bets, SFD calls
River Quads bets, SF raises small, quads jams

(I think this is correct, was relayed to me by a dealer at the time)

Of all the things you've done thanks to the life you've made for yourself, which is the thing that's had you reflecting how lucky you are?

Same question in essence, but whats been your favourite moment?

Not sure if this has been asked, but whats your favourite ever pot of all time?

I posted this on Facebook, but I thought Id post here too. Im sure Frankie would want everyone to remember the good times and be happy.

Im sure everyones got a funny Frankie story, but here's one of my favourites that summed him up.

I decided to drive back from Birmingham a night early after working an event, and Frankie asked if he could jump in with me. It was fairly late, and I dont think Frankie had slept the night previous so he could get to day 2.

While driving home, we were talking about all sorts of things (funnily enough, death of loved ones was one of them). When about 2/3rds of the way home, he realised he'd still not told me how he bust day 2 (I tried my best to avoid it). He started telling me the tale, but his voice was drifting off. I turned round and realised he'd fell asleep, so let him get some shuteye. 2 minutes later, he wakes up and screams "AND THE BASTARD HIT A JACK ON THE RIVER, FUCKING 1 OUTER JAMIE SO SICK". I was in absolute tears and had to pull up.

Im in utter shock. I dont know what to say but I need to say something as it will not sink in.

I've known Frankie since I found Poker. We used to play at Rileys together 8+ years ago. In those 8 years, I've been incredibly lucky to call Frankie a close friend. He's always been there for me, whatever I needed was never too much.

Frankie felt like family to me, and Im sure many others felt the same. He was coming to my stag do and wedding next month, and he was one of the first on the list. I wish you could have been there, old friend, but we'll raise a glass to you.

He had a heart attack last month, something many people dont know. When he came back to DTD within 3 days, I ran over to ask him how he was. He told me "If its my time its my time. I just wish I could take some friends to play poker with". I wish I could play just a hand with you one last time.

A huge hole is missing in the Poker Community. Nobody will ever fill it. We'll miss you, old friend, more than you'll ever know.

quiz question

What connects:

Eastenders
Casualty
Bob the Builder
It Ain't Half Hot Mum?

Jake Wood's acting credits?

no.

i blame tal for this one. not easy, think characters in the show

jake wood was a lovely guy. must have been asked for 100 selfies by punters all day. did each one with a smile

back in eastenders as max branning in september

Saw him bust the second flight today, stood up from seat 1, walked round and had a selfie with seats 2 through 9 with a smile on his face the whole time!

Ffs...

Alex opens, Kully 3bs, Alex 4b shoves for approx 1m. Kully calls after a short tank.

  for Alex vs   for Kully.

Jack in the door, and no miracle.
