If you like Westerns you do not want to miss the series Godless on Netflix.

Ronaldo has 323.4 million followers on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.  He is a prolific social media user.

I heard that one tweet from him on a product is expected to generate £4M in sales very quickly.

A powerful "influencer" which makes Nike happy to give him his $1B contract providing his image does not get shot.

Europe's 4 wild card selections have just been announced;

Paul Casey.

Sergio Garcia.

Ian Poulter.

Henrik Stenson.

No surprises there, then.

Not sure Garcia's form warrants selection.  His value in the team room could be met by making him a vice captain.  At the Ryder Cup, form is far more important than experience and you only have to look how well rookies on form have performed in previous Ryder Cups and how experienced players out of form have flopped.  If you have won on Tour you will cope with the Ryder Cup.  Matt Wallace must be scratching his head at not being selected.

I must admit to not giving this any thought as a result of Brexit:

Brexit could lead to spread of infectious diseases such as super-gonorrhoea, health chief warns:

- There have been 19 penalties taken at the 2018 World Cup 🏆, more than in any other edition in the history of the competition. VAR

If the referees enforced the rule preventing grappling/wrestling in the penalty area in previous World Cups I am guessing it would be the same.

Like the others say, really good to see things have gone so well for you.

Where abouts are your based in Thailand?

Thankyou!

I'm now based in central Bangkok, a place I never thought I would be. The first 3-4 times I came here I absolutely hated it.

All my friends from Phuket started moving and the community for me was one of the coolest things about my time there. One of my mates persuaded me to come and stay with him and he showed me a different side of Bangkok and I enjoyed it. It's been great for me in terms of my friends, networking, etc etc but I'm definitely less healthy and active here than I was in Phuket but neither are places I can see myself long term. For right now I don't want to be anywhere else.

There's a lot more I can rabbit on about this subject.

"he showed me a different side of Bangkok and I enjoyed it".....  I think most peoples initial view on living in Bangkok would be the same as your intial view, can you elaborate on what you discovered to change your mind?

Wasn't expecting much, but couldn't have been more wrong.

Superb first season, and can't wait for the 2nd.

Looks shite.    Cheesy

Exactly what I thought when I saw the trailer.

Cheesy, but what a trip down memory lane.

What channel is this on?

I don't know how it happened but I'm becoming a fan of Trump. His oppos are so dead set on portraying him as an idiot when he clearly isn't. The harder they scream, shout and stamp their feet the more resolute his supporters become. It's fascinating to watch. The fella is clearly shit hot at business and he's running the country like a commercial enterprise, like a corner shop as dear Maggie Thatcher used to say...I want my money back! Fake news baby! They would've had some kinda chemistry I think.

There doesn't seem to be much to support the idea that he is 'shit hot' at business.

If you subscribe to Netflix check out Dirty Money episode 6 and it will show you his biggest skills are working the media and running a con.

surprised this has had no replies,  with it being such a potentially game changing piece of technology, or whatever anybody chooses to call it.

i am an extremely keen, and equally clueless, armchair fan, liverpool for the record.

i listened to the match on radio. went to sleep before MOTD,  half heartedly  read a couple of tabloids in the canteen on my morning break. have not seen footage of either penalty.

none of that will ever alter my simple, and probably altruistic view.

please please mr FA , if you insist on going ahead with VAR , only ever use it for if the ball has crossed the line. leave penalty decisions to the referee, god help us if we start looking at offside decisions, if he makes a really obvious mistake , then suck it up, rather than debating it with
how ever many extra officials that you deem necessary.

its only been going 2 weeks or so, it is already a laughing stock.

I agree with you. Linear decisions only please and leave all of the subjective stuff to the refs.

A reversion to the old offside rule which everybody understood would be good too instead of all the second phase clear as mud stuff we have now.

Maybe take a lead from tennis's hawkeye and let each team appeal the VAR 3 times each half?

Vikings is still red hot, probably the best thing on telly box. The full moon arrives and the Great War is coming. Preparations include Bjorn Ironside being tied up by the sexy princess, slapped about the chops, and told that in her country women castrate reindeer by chewing the balls out with their teeth?? Crazy sexy. King Harold is set to attack his brother and Ragnars sons are all attacking each other. Ivor the boneless has recruited the warrior bishop and Floki the madman has lead everyone into the middle of nowhere. The whole craziness of it all couldn't be more Scandinavian if it tried.

I am also enjoying this series.

As fate would have it my snide sports streamer of choice only now takes bitcoin as payment, just popped up now, they must know something  Cheesy

Is that SportsMania?

Ulimatemania, but yes same company.....

Their move to bitcoin payments is putting a lot of customers off renewing their subs.  The fees associated with third parties to complete the buying and making the payment seem excessive.

Is that because, being forced to pay in Bitcoin, the price, in effect, has rocketed, or does it not work like that?

I think it is due to transaction fees which can vary from £3-4 to £10-13 depending on what time of day you transact.  Not so much a problem if you buy them and watch the value skyrocket but it does come into consideration if you simply want to buy some bitcoins to pay for a £34 subscription.  I have read some comments that to pay the £34 it cost £50 cover all of the fees.  There are a number of providers who charge different fee structures, all very complicated which I think needs to be addressed before bitcoins are used for simple transactions.

The reason this vendor has gone to bitcoin is because none of the regular payment processors will accept their business since they have been identified as a sports streaming service who do not have any agreements from the Sky Sports of the world to broadcast their channel.  Bitcoin seems popular for dodgy business payments!
