I have to admit to being part of the camp that wonders why football is still being played in Scotland?

Rob also got a mention from JohnnyBax - "A few of the other players were strong as well. Phil Ivey’s showing up didn’t make the outlook any easier, but he was busted quickly by a tricky Robert Yong."  Must have been nice busting Phil Ivey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I think some people may react to the all in move without realising how many chips are really at stake.

I just discovered these podcasts and downloaded some interesting interviews to my Ipod which helps pass the time while commuting.  Some good stuff and worth checking it out.

I would have folded preflop and not have to worry about making that flush draw after seeing the flop.

You must be some kind of rock!

No, just someone who knows KJ gets you into a lot of trouble and will cost you in the long run.

Coverage in the UK is shocking.  BBC have this and the only time you can watch it is from 9pm till midnight tonight!!  What's that all about?  If it were on Sky Sports, it would be on from start to finish.

Bad form BBC.  I appreciate there are other things to show but come on, 3 hours a day from the first major of the season.....

I believe that the folks at Augusta only permit this time window, they are a strange bunch of people.  It was only a few years ago that they allowed the front 9 to be shown on the final day.  This is why the TV coverage no matter where you are in the world is restricted to what we see.

A new online poker site - Mansion, which has yet to be launched, has signed as Man Utd's new shirt sponsor for a 4 year deal for £60,000,000.  Hmmmm, would be interesting to see the cash flow model for this new venture!

Too bad this was a joke since I thought this was a good move by Blue Square to show a level of customer service, for not a lot of money, and take them up a division in the league of online poker sites.

I would like to thank Jonathon and Blue Square for this fantastic opportunity, I have been itching to say something but I was sworn to secrecy until all the details had been finalised.   I can reveal that I will be travelling to Luton and Dublin, and also two major european events which we have yet to finalise.  I have been given an incentive to make the wsop in vegas, and have also been paid into all the qualifiers on Blue square to try and make it as a player !!!

Again thanks for the chance, i will do my best to be an ambassador for Blue Square.

Well done and good luck in the qualifiers.

Nice move by Blue Square in getting some infrastructure support for their qualifiers to live tourneys.

I love to win, and I hate to lose, that's the truth, pure and simple

Once the game is over, I have obviously done either one or the other, but for me thats not the end of it

If I have lost, I feel it is my responsibility to conduct myself well, to absorb and learn from the loss, to congratulate my opponents, to master my own emotions

If I have won, I try not to be too insufferable, to keep it in perspective, and I try not to get too carried away thinking how wonderful I am

Poker, like life, is a series of triumphs and disasters, until you learn to accept this, you will never be happy, no matter how good you are

In life, the bad beats matter so much more, but there is still nothing you can do about them, you can't change lifes deck, or lifes table.

The people I admire most in this world are not lifes big winners, but those who have overcome great adversity.

They have accepted the hands that life has dealt them, played them with flair and courage, and, against the odds, they have won enough small pots to stay in the game

HAS to be Post Of The Week.

Agreed - once again RED-DOG puts everything into perspective!

If changing sites is likely to improve your attitude/expectations and take you off tilt then it should be done for this reason alone.  Luck does balance out but it could take an awful long time and we tend to remember the bad luck and our out draws do not register for long.
