Keith, do you try and qualify for tournaments like these via online satellites?  Just wondering what your position on the satellites is?

Marcro,

I often do try and qualify for big events in satellites online. And usually I am spectacularly unsuccessful.

Last year I spent $15,000 trying to win a seat for the pokerstars Bahamas bash. And failed.

I hate super satellites with a passion, to me they defeat the object of poker tournaments which is to win all the chips! Plus they encourage slow play, stalling and collusion.

All in all I think they are horrid.

Keith, thanks for the reply.  I will be at Amsterdam and hope to get the chance to meet you then.

Mark

Gambling earnings are definitely tax free whether or not you have another job.  The hassle free way to get an ITIN number is as earlier indicated - play at the Bellagio and they will do it for you right away for no charge.

This will be held at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, October 8 - 21.  I am thinking of going and was wondering if anyone has been to this before and if so, any comments would be appreciated.

The most comfortable chairs in the world are made by Ekornes, www.ekornes.com

Seem a tad pricey but look VERY nice!!

Do you have one? Is it worth it?

Yes, they are expensive.  I am sitting in one right now.  The general consensus of visitors who sit in it confirms the comfort factor but the price tag is steep.

The most comfortable chairs in the world are made by Ekornes, www.ekornes.com.  Wireless broadband is a must and I would go with a notebook with a 17 inch high definition screen.
