An interesting view of the EU from the New York Times:

Chicago is my favourite city in the USA.

As TightEnd mentioned, make sure you do the Chicago Architecture River Cruise (reviews can be found on TripAdvisor) - I always recommend this and feedback every time is positive.  You can do Navy Pier at the same time and then wander down Michigan Avenue.

In the evening, go bar hopping on Rush Street and catch some live blues/jazz.

If your gambling sites support the Google Chrome browser it will be fine.

Also, Android apps can run on some of the Chromebooks which gives you another option to using a browser.  Do a google search using your model of Chromebook and android apps to see if you have this support.

At the end of the day I have found it safest going with one of the big rental companies, e.g. Avis, Hertz, etc.  The good deals advertised rarely meet expectations and imo not worth the risk for a modest saving.

I agree with not buying a preloaded box since they will come with a lot of junk.

I use an Amazon Firestick and installed Kodi by following these instructions:

 http://troypoint.com/how-to-install-kodi-on-fire-tv/

All you need is Exodus and Sportsmania to meet all of your viewing needs.

Sportsmania is the absolute dogs bollocks for sport.

And exodus is the best for TV/Films.

I don't use a VPN. Just regularly clearing the cache on the android box does the trick.

Do you pay for sportsmania?  Or is there a free version?

I'm a bit ambivalent about paying for pirate streams.  You really don't know what you could be funding.

Cache cleaning has nothing I can think of to do with a vpn.

Sportsmania is a paid subscription with a varied commitment period.  I paid £26 for 6 months, just over a quid a week.

98  Community Forums / The Lounge / Question on using a Kodi box on: February 27, 2017, 12:10:22 PM
I have just started to use a Kodi box to access Exodus and Sportsmania but do not use a VPN.  I was wondering what the general view is on this, is it worth using a VPN?

Thanks for the info - I've never flown NA. Neither am I looking for anything cheap, £750 return with Virgin though Sad, £169 is quite the bargain though

It costs a lot of money to buy, staff, service and maintain a plane.  When I am 30,000 feet in the air I am happy to pay a fair price for my ticket which allows the airline to properly maintain the plane.  Small airlines are notorious for cutting corners on plane maintenance.

As tikay said re it being a bargain, maybe it is and maybe it isn't.

Android boxes?

For the TV yes, phone, internet with normal utility companies...

i have my own place built onto my parents and we stare utilities there is no way they would accept getting sky channels without paying for them

When your contract renewal comes up negotiate hard for a reduction saying you will have to cancel if they cannot beat your current offer.  You should be able to get your current service for £90/month.  Tell them you know of people who have this deal.

I was wondering if you were able to get a refund or change the location?

If you do ask them to change the holiday make sure you tell them you like dolphins.

Demand your money back.  This has been all over the news and could clearly deteriorate into a revolution/civil war.

Do you think we would get our money back?

We specifically asked about safety and travel outside our our resort and were assured that there was no problem although obviously we have no proof of that.

Unless there is a cooling off period in the T's & C's getting refunds from travel agents will be tough but you do have a case with them telling you Gambia was perfectly safe.  You may have a better chance asking them to let you select a different holiday.

For £200 you can buy a decent chromebook which will meet the requirements for most casual users.  The only restriction is that you need to be in a wifi environment since it stores data in the cloud.

The chrome OS takes away all of the complexity of windows and it is what I recommend to most casual users.

More details on a chromebook can be found here:
