6782  Poker Forums / Poker Hand Analysis / £300 DTD deepstack 110 players left on: July 05, 2010, 09:15:38 PM
This is my first poker hand post on here but would like any advice from the regs
Its the £300 deepstack at DTD last weekend there are 110 players left blinds are 200/400 25  average chips 19000
I have 25000 and since the early levels when i took a couple of beats had dwindled to 3500 then through 1 river bink some well timed bluffs and one genuine hand have got up above the average when the folowing hand occured.
The only other bit of history i have is 2 hands previous i showed a double barrelled bluff as 3 new players had joined the table and was hoping to hit some cards and take advantage of the bluff.

UTG(fairly abc player) with a stack of 11000  raises to 1100   utg+2 (new player) with a stack of 26000 no history re pops to 4100 i wake up to  in cut off. How should i play from here as would be really interested in your thoughts, i will post below what happened.

I decide that the reraiser can only call my shove with QQ+ and AK thoughts? and if the utg has a hand im not out if i dont hit also that i cant reraise to 10k and fold to the re reraise so i shove and the utg folds unfortunately the utg+2 checks that he still has  and calls   sigh no binkage and im out

What i would like is feedback on how others would play it and if its ok in other players eyes to  call/fold if i miss the flop or if i jus play as i did to to ammass a decent stack to play with
Thanks in advance for your input.

Yesterday was one of the toughest of my life and what I'm about to say is going to be tough too. Looking at Chris's spreadsheet and taking everything into account, I believe this was a scam from the start. Neil, if you're reading this I am sorry but I can't help you anymore. If we were ever friends you will not try to contact me after today. You're not the person I thought you were. You have conned, lied and cheated not just from randoms but from your closest friends.

I am sorry for those who have lost out. I am not going to ask Neil to ever repay me. Call it a parting gift- my friendship to you actually meant something to me.

Please can I ask that no one contact me re Neil or anything on here. I wanted to help but I have to look after my own family now. If there's one good thing to come out of this I've realised more than ever how much my wife and kids mean to me.
George i have been reading this thread on and off since thursday and fwiw i truly think you should be very proud of your conduct, i only know you to say hello to at dtd and only sat on your table a few times but he was very lucky to have a friend like you and over time im sure you will meet other people who will know what a good person you are andnot abuse you like neil has. I hope to see you at DTD at start of July and hopefully the karma gods will look down on you and the other stakers with a multi way chop Smiley

eso - glad i saved you.  No idea who you are though but wp for dodging it.  I didnt realise i saved other people apart from the ones i knew about.
We chatted whilst watching the darts by the roulette machines and talked about trading in general, you wouldnt recognise my screenn name though, i followed this for the last 2 days and thought you got some unfair stick but at least some have apologised now.

I truly hope the stakers do get some justice in some way shape or form, i think lots of us realise it could be us who invested  as many have followed the thread for weeks and months.  I know arrboy from around the circuit and was discussing this at DTD at last months deepstack and on his advice decided not to invest anything and whilst i have not been on blonde for long i think its a great community and whatever Blatch has done blonde will still be here without him.
Hope you guys get all your money back eventually!!

A big sorry to any blondes who backed tubby.
Most of the info i get 80% of the horses shorten dramatically from the morning, would welcome advice on if backing to lay would be more productive even if it means smaller profits?
6794  Community Forums / Betting Tips and Sport Discussion / Re: Horse Tip Today in 2.35 Goodwood on: May 31, 2010, 02:05:17 PM
rocker and phantom whisper both each way

as well as laying tubby
I see where your coming from but from what they said they thought the horse even though it won last time was bumped and also has improved at home since that race.
Plus i wanted to start posting about poker and other stuff and after the phone call yesterday decided this was as good as any place to start

LOL, we just had that convo in the Nun's household.
Lol, I have looked at blonde for a long time but since playing more at DTD this year and back end of last decided that wanted to start somewhere.
Plus its never bad to share the wealth.
