16  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: Vegas Trip Information for anyone looking to go this year. on: May 23, 2013, 04:46:21 PM
Has anyone stayed here before http://www.holidayroyale.com/. Am considering staying for 8-10 weeks in Vegas and want somewhere no more than $1.5k per month if poss. This seems like a good cheap option. Any better suggestions are welcome tho. Thanks!

When I stayed there 2 months I just moved around hotels every few weeks, but the key is to start low level and stay in better as you go along. That way if you've knocked it in at least you're not having to wait a week for an elevator at the IP

I know a few lads have stayed here http://www.tuscanylv.com/

I also found a month at Palms Place for about $2k for Claypole from around the 2nd week in June onwards, but that was with Expedia so ymmv.

Thanks, i like that idea a lot but it is going to be more expensive than staying at this holiday royale place. Think i will go check it out and then weigh up my options when there, i'm staying at Aria first so hotel downgrade tilt is unavoidable.

Still running horrible, think ive been playing pretty good tho so gotta keep at it. Not looking forward to results at end of the month as it stands but still 2 weeks to turn it around. I had plans to play the Monte Carlo next month but if things dont improve think i might give it a miss, which is a shame Sad
