Official email just in from the G "Poker Room Inspector"....

Hi there Darren, Richard and Chompy

I understand that there has been a lot of discussion over whether or not we
would be bringing back the early bird chips to the tournaments.

After a conversation with Carmel we have decided to bring them back for the
start of September
and it will be 1500 extra chips to each starting stack
for those that arrive 5 mins or  before the scheduled start of the
competition, It will only apply to freezeout competition's, It will only
apply to competitions that have a starting stack of 5000 or more.

I hope that this will be received well by the Poker Community and that we
see you all very soon

Is this going to include tonight??? I love the idea but surely they have to give some notice, I was planning on arriving late, and would have figured it out to be early had I only known!!!!

dunno whether to venture up for the freeroll later.  anyone else going up for it? any chance of some scrabble action on the side so I don't make the drive up just for 10 minutes of crapshoot pokerz?

ooo - just seen the chompy news - glglgl

Any idea if they will be running STT's for a seat? that will influence my decision....

Of course they won't       ......       but after a player suggests it, they will (all sensible ideas have to come from the punters     .....     Kalum's far too busy contemplating his navel).

I shall start the conversation with some naval chat and then turn it to STT's, sure they happened last bank holiday

Chompy, stop mucking around with these high paying tournies and get yourself back to the G, you are my headline player, the team needs you greatly   with Adrian Puller still MIA, me so broke I am not sure I can manage this afternoons freeroll and Josh Matrix being ruined by the weight of being in my team, you are needed!

With ten minutes to go we've hit 200 runners, and the guarantee

Will be nearer 300 runners by the time late entries close I expect.

Who do we have representing Luton G?

Pep Fontana, so far

Not sure if the likes of Mr Miller, Mr Morris, Ms Dell etc are coming up
I think Steve Spring is heading up, and I heard rumours of the lovely Danny Pike also

Well done Chompy, dragged my team out of the Wooden Spoon position

Now all I have to do is find out which island Adrian "the Pilot" Puller has  crash landed on and drag him back to the G, Stake Josh "Matrix" Pope at the 1.6 premium he suggested last week and try to change my own name from  Chris "donkoffbigstacksandfinishoneofthemoney" Roberts, then we may sniff mid table!

Don't worry it is a Snickers not a Marathon

it feels more like a Fudge or a Curly Wurly, you know that chocolate you buy when you have spanked all your money and cant afford premium chocolate or coz your Mrs said you look fat and you cant go over the 150 calorie mark innit
