Hi Jase
Have just started my way through this thread and have already identified how good a read and what good advice is being given here by loads of respected members of Blonde, I am only on page 2 and I just came across this bit...."Going for 2 years cashing for fun to 2 years of not getting above starting stack is not much fun."
I had never met you till Tighty introduced us at the £1million guaranteed Nottingham UKIPT, I had fluked my way to day 2 and no doubt Tighty was showing me every friendly face he could muster as this was my first buy in game of over £200 (I had won a sat for £56 at DTD to get in)
Amazingly I fluked my way to day 3 as well and there we were....May of this year on the last 4 tables of the UKIPT with £219k up top, I was sat to your right, you had Jamie Dale to your left and you were sat on above average chips. You played some great pots vs Jamie Dale using your wit and banter in a good way I thought, you were very kind to me and made many a comment to keep my spirits up as my chipstack decreased!
4 tables left and eventually I lost a flip, the cash for £2700 was phenominal for me, a micro stakes player online and a £20 casino player live and I attribute a large proportion of that success in that game to your calming influence, your kindness and admiring some of your play, I was literally the fish out of water that day and you put me gently back in the goldfish bowl!
I can't offer any constructive poker advice but I can remind you of this, this was only May or even June 2012, you went on to cash for £3500 which i know isn't life changing but is good for 2 months take home pay and you played fantastic confident poker so once you get the mojo back you will crush again.
Never got to properly thank you for you help over those two days so now is my chance, THANK YOU JASE and hurry up and get your mojo back!!
Dave

Always after an outdraw
"Sorry" - you are not sorry, you were begging for that one outer on the river!
"I was only shoving cause I wanted to go play cash/roulette/blackjack/slots" *delete as applicable- classic phrase
In PPUKT last Saturday I 3 bet with AA raiser calls, flop Axx and he comes out with the classic line
"Hah your Ace rag has hit wp"

My better half Sian binked £750 on Grosvenor Online in the jackpot game courtesy of her Quad Kings a few weeks back!
(Hoping for a £220 Sky Poker Tour 6 max buy in present!)

We've had this arguement before. Deffo nothing wrong with having friends watch the stream. Not his fault or problem if someone else at the table doesn't have mates that can watch it or chooses not to ask someone for the info. Likening it to cheating or being unethical is completely ridiculous
Agree It's not unethical, it is using ALL the information available Man City knew they had to score twice in stoppage time as the Man U game had finished, it wasn't unethical for them to seek that info, the games kicked off together to ensure fairness, they used info freely available to them.

Surely it is the same as dealer dropping the deck?
Therefore he shuffles the pack leaving out the AA and A8 and deals the board, winner scoops!

Can't recommend a bank as HSBC are my preference but obviously not yours! The Halifax seem to offer a good account and most banks have a switching service that transfers all your Direct Debits You can normally get a 100 quid bonus as well if it is the main account that takes payroll and you fully switch all DD's using the switching service The Martin Lewis website is normally good for these deals www.moneysavingexpert.comDave

Hi, Think this might be a bit early to ask but after info on UKIPT tourneys Have bagged a ticket to newcastle and this will be my 1st UKIPT( virgin ) LOL Just after any information regarding best day to play ( if there is one lol) I have booked myself down for the 2nd day but can easily change this obviously standard of play will be quite high and as a newbie could do with some pointers etc Any Info gladly taken !!! cheers I made my UKIPT debut at Nottingham and came 39th so be confident a nice bink is possible. I played super tight early on, good structure allows this and was very observant, like any tourney identify the weaker player to get chips from. Lots of 3 and 4 bets pre flop and make sure your bet sizing is good as weakness is punished. Above all, good luck and be confident in your ability Dave
