Dinner at Allegre (Wynn) with Mitch, his wife and her brother was alright, nothing special.

Maybe they were still a bit jet-lagged?

You cover the £600?

Think I want to call. Gives HJ a chance to shove some random T that he doesnt want to fold and its pretty obvious which turn cards are bad for us so should be pretty easy to play down the streets. I think we can table the problem of bad cards killing our action for now as the only hands we beat that this applies to really are 73 and T3 which are unlikely to be there due to preflop action. A bare T isn't going to give us much action vs a flop 3bet here anyway.

. He writhes in his chair (probably not getting a fold now, mate) and, unable to remove the cloak of stoicism from his opponent's visage, he passes.

gauntlet handed back to me?

Stay out of my manbag!

3bet pre in this tournament, raise turn in this tournament to get value/protect from the sort of hand he inevitably has now he bombs this river.

Mitch makes a huge schoolboy error- Darth Vader a Jedi! Locks up the Mitch cash!

Stribling going strong. Can anyone catch him??

Technically before he became Vader he was Jedi Anakin Skywalker.

Mitch has still had a nightmare tho with the other 6.

Ah but he becomes a Sith Lord so is no longer a Jedi when he takes his Sith Name

I've been on countdown... But you 2 are nerds
58  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: 1 - 2 day events play the 1 day or the turbo on: January 26, 2015, 08:24:38 PM
From a purely ev point of view when you include expenses or w/e its almost certainly going to be better to play the turbo. It's true that the average stack going through from the turbo but that is counteracted by the fact you're less likely to bust the turbo. You're expectation purely from the tournament will be a bit higher in the reg speed day 1 but nowhere near enough higher in a £100 to warrant an extra day in a hotel or 20 quid more petrol or whatever

I'd get this in here, want to realise our equity and don't want to be in a situation where we have to fold the turn. Also that range is fairly realistic but anyone who's just going to pot it here simply isn't going to be that cut and dry, its definitely not out of the question they have 7c7s, AKetc. Even if they don't this is still a profitable get in anyway
