What a journey!

Best of luck to him.

Thanks! A nice return to the old stomping ground. It’s funny how certain places you always seem to do well, yet I can’t cash a Gukpt for love nor money (0 for at least 30 lifetime).

Great to final with both Johnson brothers- still min cash bosses.

Next stop EPT Barca.

Welcome back Alex.

Away from the poker tables, how is life generally these days?

Well done on this, btw. Nice photo...

Life is great. Loving every minute of being a Dad. The little man is turning 4 in June. Never a dull moment. We had a right adventure in February - 23 nights, 12 hotels, 3500km covered in Southern Chile! Stunningly beautiful country. Our aim was to get to Patagonia but all the ferries were booked up weeks in advance so we couldn't manage it. But the volcanoes, lakes, beaches, forrests between there and Santiago kept us more than busy. Daniel loved it but I guess probably won't remember it when he's older. He's been to 9 countries already!

Viktorija is well, she's taken up food blogging since the pandemic - so I get fed extremely well - and our whole life is very public which I'm not too keen on but it makes her happy and I'm allowed to just look grumpy in the corner while she does her thing so it doesn't affect me too much Cheesy

Letting myself in for a shit ton of variance playing tournaments full time, something I've never done 100%, so I'm strapped in and ready for the rollercoaster! Regained so much passion for the game in the last few weeks now that I've started studying really hard - uncovered so many more layers to things, so many different things you can do these days and I've found it fascinating. So I'm back loving the game, and the tattoo is still there to prove it!

How are you sir? It was strange not bumping into you in Vegas last year - will you be going this year? What's SKY POKER up to these days?

Hi all. I’m back playing playing tournaments full time now, as the London cash scene has gone fully private since covid. Had fun trips to Prague, Dublin and Monte Carlo - getting lucky in two mystery bounty events in the first two to get out of the hole! Alas no miracle in Monaco but last nights 4th/5000 helps with that. I had 100 million chips at one point at blinds 1m/2m - quite surreal, that’ll take some beating!

Will be grinding most of SCOOP now and then 5 weeks in Vegas. Vamos!

Hello blonde,

How many months payslips do mortgage lenders typically ask for? 3? 6? 12? Does anyone have any recent experience with which lenders ask for what?

You're speaking about the bar chart pic right guys?

OK, OK.

Pretty solid performance that Alex, 12 from 12 is quite something.

How much longer will you continue to ply your trade as a pro poker player? Any plans yet to get a "proper job"?

Do you keep in touch with the lads? I saw Mitch at a recent SPT - Manchester I think - and we had a bit of a chat. Was both surprised and pleased to see him. He's not changed one bit.

No plans to quit yet no Tony! I wrote in August feeling a bit doom and gloom about the future of the games but I think it's just cyclical and it's picked up a lot since then and as long as I continue to enjoy it and do OK then I'll crack on. Not many people get to look forward to going to work, and I genuinely do every day - so to trade that in just because it's a bit miserable during the downswings - would have to be for something really special - and I haven't found that just yet.

Still in touch with the guys yeh! We had a Christmas do in Nottingham recently. All the usual faces there. Mitch has lost a bit of weight I believe Tony. Though I haven't seen him since Christmas so it has probably all gone back on by now...
