Quite incredible how much this has all grown. I remember when the 100th member joined joined during a live update all that time ago. Who would have ever thought the numbers would be like they are now. Kudos to all involved...

5  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: Final table deals - online on: February 11, 2007, 09:27:03 PM
Sounds like you were very lucky!Good Luck at the tables and thank you for choosing PokerStars. job that all poker players are honest.....The issue is, not all sites facilitate deals. Party have automated software on some of their Tourneys and PokerStars send a member of their support team to assist (write to support@pokerstars.com and mark your email "Urgent - Tourney Chop #xxxxxxx", obviously put in the tourney number!) at almost any tournament including Sit & Go's.

I know that at Stars, they would review the chat log if there was a debate but it has to be beyond any reasonable doubt that the deal was confirmed i.e Player A - OK, I get $7,000, you get $3,000. If you agree to this, please type "I agree" - Player B "I agree".

The other issue is, when there is a seat up for grabs in a big event (EPT, WSOP, PCA etc), I am not sure that any site would allow the chop.
6  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: Stars FPP Store Delivery on: January 31, 2007, 10:28:42 PM
I have no idea if they will be introduced in to the FPP Store, they will be able to tell you that, but we gave them away to players that won a package on the site as part of their 'promo gear' pack at Aussie Millions, and clearly the EPT as well. They are very nice :-)

Hopefully that is positive news... I am looking forward heading over from Greece to play in the room as soon as possible. There was even talk of the Poker Room at the Aussie Millions so it is fair to say that the world waits with bated breath...

I watched this for the first time about four months ago actually and felt the same, sick. I actually felt compelled to go out there to visit for some reason and did a little research on the internet about how easy it is.

They seem to be heading in the right direction now and it looks an incredibly beautiful country. It is so easy to get caught up in this although we need to be careful otherwise we could turn in to manic depressives. Not only humanity but also the animals that we are killing all around the world, the whales, Dolphins etc. On the way back from Aussie Millions I watched 'An Inconvenient Truth' on the plane, the Al Gore movie about global warming. Again, on a different level, it wast horrifying. We seem intent on killing the world...cheerful post huh...

Great work Pab, i wondered around to try and find you but nothing struck me as 'Pab' in the names, lol! I had a great day, I made the final table of the $1050 Team Event, ended up fiinishing in 6th place and was chip leader for most of the event. The final nail in the coffin was KK again! Cut off raises, My partner in SB reraises all in, BB calls with AA! Still, payout was ok and a lot fun, quite a nice way to have a blowout after the main event. Tomorrow is the $550 so will also play out. I will look out for you now I know your name Pab, well done again, awesome result.

Good luck to Pab, I wish yo uthe very best.

I will play the Team event tomorrow and the last feature event on Thursday

yes, she is, she is playing the 'Poker Pro' and raiilng me. She actaully won about $400 on it today which is very funny. Pab, i certainly will, I wish you the very best of luck. I think i was on the table next to you today from what you said (i ended up on 9), at least at the end of the day. Thanks Rod, appreciate the good wishes. The guy next to me had aces SIX time in the last few hours. I havent had it once...very jealous! Best thing of the day was the rail giving me a good round of applause when i rereraised a guy all in on a 8754x board and got him to put down a decent hand. I was a little naughty and showed my Jack high bluff. Nice the rail appreciated it though.

Its very late so I wont go in to the details but I made it to the end of Day One also, I have 59,600 chips, average is around 49k i believe. Due to a stomache bug i only got three hours sleep last night, not great preparations but still... Been fun, had Barney Boatman, Mark Vos and Andy Bloch to name but a few on my table.
I hope Tikay doesnt mind me mentioning it, the PokerStars blog is covering how I am getting on if anyone is interested. Also nice to see a load of my mates mailing me wanting an increased percentage!, lol
