Well done Ali, very nice work.

It was a great event played in the right spirit, the event went quite well for me, I lasted pretty deep in to the day until I got Scott Fischmann all in, he had AQ, I had AK. I exited shortly afterwards. One of the problems about bad beats is now, by the time you get back to your hotel room, you can relive it again on the internet! Not pleasant...

The main event starts tomorrow so hopefully I will run well. For anyone interested, a couple of the guys that I work with have done a blog for the Melbourne trip, you can read it at the following address http://trojanfish.blogspot.com/

I was trying to read through what everyones fav was but kind of missed most of it as i was stunned to read that GNR Appetie For Destruction was 20 years old. That has made me feel seriously old.

Anyway, yes, that would be one of mine, Queen's debut is v good, Danger Danger's (obscure American band) and of course Van Halen 1.

Early last year a band called 'Say Anything' release their album '...Is a Boy'. That is certainly my fav debut for at least 15 years and fully 8 months after i purchased it, i still play it at least twice a week.

I'm going to vote for Queens Park Rangers FC.

Think it will be a photo finish between the R's and the Ryder Cup team. And Martin Rowlands great goal v Southend might just swing it for the Superhoops.

nh Sir... Still wasn't as good as the the goal by Sir Roy Wegerle v Leeds in the 3-2 win all those years ago. Still the best goal I have ever seen in my life (whilst at the game)

Please note another loss...I am out in Ausralia at the moment nd yo uwould not believe the &%$@ I am getting. Seriously, 75% of shops I go in want to talk about the cricket.
Last year, I believed we could win all five tests, this time,  really cant see where a win will come from. Hopefully I can get some tickets still for the Sydney test! Eternal optimist...

I wouldn't say so any loss is a bad result.

Had we not been cheated with that penalty who knows?

Should we have held out to half time I dunno what could have happened but thats 3 times that ref has fukced Celtic over he's a class A titty!!

Refs are going downhill in my opinion. The Arsenal one was just as bad. You have to wonder how many more decisions will be given before they say YES to a video referee. Not a week goes by without a handful of decisions being analysed and criticised on TV. Yes, it is easier after when watching the tv but maybe that is the whole point...its easier watching a TV...

do you think klos will walk straight back into the team when hes back bazza?
Klos: What I will say though is if he is anything near his best then he should walk into the side.

Good call. He has always scared me on crosses though. I once heard someone say he is a "good shot stopper". I would like to think so, he is a goalkeeper! I was a big fan though (until CarParkhead last year of course).

I have to say, Boruc was superb tonight. I have enjoyed laughing at recent CFC keepers but i have been impressed with his performances. Certainly the best by some distance (based on the limited games I have seen).

King William, I am always for giving a players more of a chance but it is so hard with a goalkeeper, its a high profile position and any mistake will cost us dearly. Heres hoping he pics up because i can't see PLG replcaing him with Klos.

Could have comfortably been half a dozen had Boruc not been in such fine form. Was pretty predictable outcome before game though imho. Men vs Boys. Although was never a penalty.

Prince at Hammersmith Odeon was pretty awesome. Bowie at the NEC on his last tour about 3 years ago was more than a little special. David Lee Roth always very entertaining live.
As for shows I would have liked to see, I never forgave myself for not going to the first Live Aid when I could have had tickets at face value. I also would have loved to go to Donington Monsters of Rock 1984 to see AC/DC, The Mighty Van Halen, Motley Crue, Accept, Gary Moore, Ozzy Ozbourne and Y&T. Possibly the greatest rock line up ever assembled in the UK.
