Should do the trick.

whilst i am loath to give any advice as, in the great scheme of things I am still a novice, of recent time I have made most of my money at seven card stud. I would say that poker basics should get you through. From my experience, there are a lot of beginners out there who do NOT appear to pay attention to the cards on display. a great example being a recent hand when i got a call on seventh street from a player who had concealed aces, I had two pair on view. Clearly hey were not looking at my cards (even though i actually hit a boat) I do play a lot of draws and am fairly agggressive for what it is worth. I don't want to tempt fate but, so far so good. Good luck to you. It is a great game.

Congratulations.

Theres a funny post over at twoplustwo whining about some beats John put out, amusing reading.

Yes, an awesome result for JG. I have to actually concur, the first 40 minutes of this table saw some of the most incredible beats, not just  JG. One in particular got such a loud reaction from the crowd, I am sure it could have been heard a mile away! Basically a player was all in (pretty sure it was JG although I stand to be corrected), He had AK, matey boy had 88, flop A8x, turn Ace, river King. We could have seen four exits within that period, literally, but the river saving the underdog on all occassions. Certainly a lively table. Live poker, its rigged I tell 'ya.

Excellent. I found it. For the record, they also have a file that you can donwload and it puts all of the world cup fixutres in to your Oulook! Rock'nRoll. Wish I had seen this yesterday as it appears that is the only England match that they are showing (although maybe the schedule witll change). Thanks for this, great news.

That is very impressive, that dude took the pi$$ when he changed the music we were listening too as well as keep joining stts.

I would love to see what he does when his batteries go on his cordless mouse, now that would be hilarious.

I just tried how many i could do, i had 7 up and then my moby rang and it all went tits up.

Although this guy loses an edge with no info at all, he also gains on playing very solid poker as he will just fold any filth he is dealt.

Lets hope Pokerstars see sense and do the decent thing, the world is full of eccentrics and they amuse pratts like me for 10 minutes.

The video is very old not and he has been playing on PokerStars for some time.

http://www.pokerstars.com/PScareer.html

Well, I applied about 16 months ago and have been working there very happily ever since. Stars are a great company to work for. The one downside is, I can no longer play my poker there. That really is frustrating as I do believe with my hand on heart, it is head and shoulders above any other site. I hope this isnt interpretted as spamming, for those that know me, it was the only site I would use prior to getting the job.

There are other jobs availble on a failrly regular basis (not thorugh staff turnover I hasten to add, I can only recall one member of staff leaving in my time there). Check the web site and send in a CV

I am glad this has finally made the public domain, this guy is incredible. I wish more people would view it though(maybe less people thinking he is a bot then!)

Im curious about something here.. In general I only buy original software (in fact only had one "fake" item fo software which was 'nero' a while back, no longer on my system as I have a newer computer) although am very aware that most items can be downloaded for free. But, it is clear that many people (alledgedly) do on here.  I would guess that this is pretty representative of society. Now, as most people on here are poker players, what are the risks involved that someone *may* have hacked in to the "copy" software and put key loggers etc within it. I mean it was only a week or so ago that the "rake calculator" was found to have this sort of thing in it? High risk? Low risk?...
The next thing is this: I said that I used to have an illegal version of Nero that I downlaoded. So, I went to the Nero site and was curious if it would let me pay to updgrade. It connected to the interent, told me that the copy that I had was not original however, what it would do is let me have a highly discounted version if I now purchased it. Now, fast forward six months... I want the new Nero 7 now. I would be stupid to NOT download this illegally, go to the website and regsiter, get the same message and buy it for half the price. Legally....... discuss....

The site says for legal reasons they can only show it to users in the UK?

Exactly. But as I say, this is because of my IP address. Although now yo uhave phrased it like that, I kind of feel guilty ofr asking how I get around it! LOL.... no harm in wanting to watch my National side with English Commentary!

Isn't there a way of going via a proxy?

There must be proxy servers out there?

If i could find the "confused fella" icon, i feel it would be rather appropriate here. Sorry, I am not so bright with computers.... would yo umind breaking that down a little please?
