Wishful thinking at the moment, but the UK lockdown will eventually be lifted
Where is the first place you are going for a hobby/activity/trip or location you are travelling to?
Our living room - for the TV Or our library - for a book If you're only counting places that we can't go to during the lockdown, I don't know, work probably. I'm not too keen on the outside in general so lockdown hasn't been too much of a struggle really Same, not been overly bothered really. Staring at a screen for long periods for work purposes has been the harder bit...... Not a huge faactor for me. Missing my two/three hours a day at the gym/swimming/sauna etc and getting out to play some live cash at the weekend and a few pints and eatiing out but apart from that the main day to day routine isn't much different. Just substituted the dogs on bf for online poker. Never thought i would see the day where i was playing 40+ hours a week of online poker. If you asked me this time 2 years ago i would have thought you were mad. Actually quite enjoying it. Nice to have the games as soft as 2005 again online. Is that last statement really true? Can only go on my experience from the last month or so. Can't believe how many notes i am making on people simply putting 'totally clueless mug' Give it a spiin for yourself. Online poker numbers are through the roof because there is nothing else to bet on and all these additional people haven't suddenly become poker geniuses Not played seriously online for years. Thought it would only be pros/decent players left. If they giving it away might have to actually play some hands Thanks to this massive influx of fish I'm a break-even player again.Call

Hello All. Yes, I did indeed play the £1000 edgebaston GRAND! It was a veyr good fun, old school atmosphere event, with a very good bunch of people, in typical fashion we did an old school 8 way chop, winner winner. My friend in running the card room at this casino so to support him i went to play it, enjoyed myself, anyone from that area looking for a good comp, its every month, nice quick structure, good group of people, fun event, decent top prize, well worth a go for a cheeky little 1 day punt. I barely played much poker this year, been busy working, things are great here in London, even though I still not got a wedding organised, no holidays planned (was hoping to go away Jan-Feb again like last yr, but no one will come with me, scumbags) and had to have another hand operation as 10 yrs on from the original "incident" Ive had to have a little more bone removed. Right after I did it the first time i went back to hospital and said I think they left a bit of stitch inside my finger, they told me they defo didnt, 10 yrs later they cut me open again, and what do they find... a bit of bloody stitch that's been in there for a decade Apparently it's not a big deal, I TOLD THEM IT WAS A BIT OF STITCH!!! Hand looks gross atm, but should be very good long term as was starting to hurt again, should do the golf game the world of good too! nearly 3 months since last played, very sad, going to be back firing next year for sure. Most exciting thing on the horizon BY FAR for me is the world championship darts, starting a week on friday, very excited about that.Assuming you're planning to 'do your bollox' on this as per usual?

Just watch/listened to your interview with Collin Moshman. Enjoyed it and I don't think you'd much wrong. You need luck to progress in a tournament but it needs to be backed up with decent play elsewhere to progress. the real proof will be if you sat into another biggie and do well in that. Gd luck going forward. link here- https://www.twitch.tv/videos/501760550p.s. Wouldn't normally post a link to a competitor how ever I think it's ok in this instance as Mr Tea is quite a regular on here.

Congrats Mr Tea on your binkage. Tell me, does your book cover the strategy for sats where your chip stack goes through to the next level on top of winning a seat? I understand straight freeze out sats pretty well but playing on Party I turned $11 entry into a $109 ticket fairly easily. However my final chipstack means I start the final with 55BBs, not ideal however I think I might have to adjust my strategy a little so I don't fold most of the last two levels in the future(cos I didn't realise chipstack went through).
Phase satellites? We cover them at the end but I'll save you a few quid of buying the book if it's just for them. For all intents and purposes treat those like you are playing Day 1 of a tourney and try to build a big stack rather than fold to the end of the bubble, they are not really satellites in the usual sense. Tx for that. Didn't realise I was playing a phase satellite however now I know how the format works I should be able to adjust.

Just watching a USA customs programme.
The sniffer dog alerts on a backpack. A search reveals a tiny wrap containing barely enough marijuana to cover a match head.
The owner is arrested and handed over to the police.
Customs official, "What ever it takes to keep America safe man..."
Read this mans book recently. Cliffs- the drugs themselves, per se, are not the problem but how we deal with their supply is. He now campaigns to end the prohibition of drugs. A really gd read and has solidified my position on drugs. That looks good Mr ecan. I'll check it out. Don't get me wrong I'm totally anti drugs, it was just this guy's attitude that annoyed me. I'm totally the opposite especially as my drug of choice,Alcohol, is perfectly legal to buy but has many of the characteristics that make other drugs illegal.
