I went back to school as a grown up and tho I'm not the best student in the world I'm good with the getting going bit!!

Do you have any idea what you want to study or are you looking for inspiration?

Depending on your chosen study area most colleges now offer something akin to an access course for mature students (around a years worth of study at 16 hr pw - though a biology/chemistry/physics route may be 2 years..)

Access courses are really useful for things like learning to structure assignments, exams ect.. and usually contain refresher gcse's (or equiv) in both maths and English as part of the course. Plus you will gain enough equiv a levels to get you onto most university courses as an adult learner..

Alternatively some universities offer a foundation year (course dependent) however these are usually open to all ages so expect students from 18+ on these..

PM me if you want to me to go into detail otherwise I'll bore half of Blonde to death Smiley

GL whatever you decide

WTF is this please??? Coz I'll be buggered if it's breakfast!!!!!

Fkn BURGERS?Huh? Too much bread stuff, bacon MIA, dried bean things slopped all over anything remotely identifiable.. blatantly hard yolked fried egg to boot!! Lets face it, this 'breaklunch' is a veritable shambles!!!

3 out of 10, and it's not subject to negotiation..

When I prompted Father to answer this question, I could feel the vitriol in his tone leaping from the SMS on my screen.

Ever the thrifty soul, Ian did his level best to convey his utter disdain for Mr Balls in less than 162 characters so as not to use another message from his allowance:

"Total Prat.
 Gordon Brown's enforcer.
 Economic retard.
 Dangerous.
 'Nanny state knows best'
 We will spend your money."

I didn't have the heart to tell him he had gone into a second message, so potentially costing himself £0.12, but, for the love of this game I did ask him to confirm a score out of 100 in order that I may score the quiz.

good call, well made.

always did like Pappa Gasgcoine..
