Any idea of dates for the wpt500?

Please use our 12 month Calender for all festivals and event dates, I keep it updated myself now.

Hi guys, finished on 130 today for Day 1a of the Sky UKPC 6-Max Mini, that is 30% above our target to hit the magic 600. You can buy-in to through the DTD Shop for convenience for all Sky UKPC events, I would definately advise this if you intend to play Day 1C of the Mini and/or Main, although of course, we will do everything we can to get those players that turn up on the day in as quickly as possible, although 6-Max reduces our capacity by 33%. Anyone that can play Day 1b of Mini. Day 1a Day 1b of main - many thanks Smiley http://www.dtdshop.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.browse&category_id=17 Cheers Aces

Has any decision been made on the leaderboard across all events for the whole festival?  I can't see anything on the dtd page for the SPUK on the dtd website.  Is there going to be one?   Has the mini/£20k cash equiv replaced the leaderboard?

Hi

There will be a leaderboard featuring all the bracelet events and the Mini / £20k cash is in addition to this.

Leaderboard and points available should be up by Friday

GRAND PRIX  CASH BUY-IN WILL BE ALLOWED AT THE CLUB
ON FRIDAY & SATURDAY:

Guys, I have just spoken to Nicola Dusktilldawn tonight and a lot of players have been on support with problems depositing online to buy-in to the Grand Prix following our mandatory migration to a new e-wallet on ipoker. Of course - we will make sure that everyone who turns up Friday or Saturday gets in to the Dusk Till Dawn Grand Prix, - if you cannot buy-in online just go to the Club Cash Desk on Friday or Saturday with your £60 cash as you would for a normal comp and you can buy-in no problem:) I have informed the Club that we are allowing cash buy-on the both live day 1's for this Grand Prix. Glenn Dusk Till Dawn and Nicola will there all day Friday and Saturday to assist you with any problems aswell. I will be at GPS Newcastle on Friday but should be back for the Grand Prix Final. 67  Poker Forums / The Rail / New WPT 50 evening comp at DTD starts 28th July on: July 21, 2014, 06:55:39 AM
Feel like I've slept for 2 years since getting back from Vegas! Just a heads up, I will be launching a new comp on 28th July called "WPT 50" for our Monday to Thursday players. This is a 'mini' version of our weekend event, the WPT125. Here a a few details;

Mon - Thu Day 1's 8 pm starts - play 14 levels x 20 mins using our £250 Deepstack structure & finish at 1pm to suit players who need to get to work in morning

Friday Day 2 8pm 30 min clock and play to finish

£50 + £5 reg fee
£12,500 GTD (inc 5 x WPT500 seats)
1st place GTD £3000+£500 seat
50,000 chips
Same re-entry rules as Grand Prix, where players can take their highest stack through if they wish to play another day 1 i.e. they do not forfeit their stack

We will be running daily online sats for the WPT 50 starting at 1p for players that want to keep the cost down of playing this event regularly, for the moment, there will be no online day 1 option as this event is really focused on our local mid week Mon-Thu players.

We will be running XXL's alongside this & a full schedule will be released next week. This is a new concept for weekdays - it may not work, but I want to give players the option of playing a superior structure during the week, finishing at a reasonable time each evening and playing for a bigger prizepool. I would also like to see as many of our locals getting the chance to play the £1m WPT 500 in November.

I think the Card Room Manager should be called over by the dealer to make a ruling which should be 'in the interests and fairness of the game', like all poker rulings should be that are made when there is a grey area or a dispute.

This is usually rule number 1 in all poker rules. Here is rule #1 of the TDA rules

1:   Floor Decisions
Floorpeople must consider the best interest of the game and fairness as top priorities in the decision-making process. Unusual circumstances can on occasion dictate that decisions in the interest of fairness take priority over the technical rules. The floorperson’s decision is final.

WPT 125 Players....Last Chance Online Day 1 tomorrow 1pm! Estimated overlay £10,000 tomorrow.

Don't forget we have an Online Last Chance Day 1 tomorrow at 1pm into Sunday nights 6pm Final. Sunday's Online Day 1 will finish at 3.30pm giving players plenty of time to get to the Club for 6pm. http://www.dusktilldawncasinonottingham.com/news/wpt-125-road-to-wpt-500/2428#schedule . It's been a difficult start to the WPT 125 week with our online software being down for 3 days meaning no online satellites and no Online Day 1 on Thursday, this was completely out of our control - so we expect to be adding around £10,000  based on current numbers, good news for the players that participate. We have a 5 seat GTD sat at 7pm tonight for the WPT 125 and freerolls will be running next week as compensation for the online problems this week.

71  Poker Forums / The Rail / Super 50 Final Table Bonus Promotion - Starts today on: June 12, 2014, 04:41:09 AM
"STARTING TONIGHT - WE WILL ADD £1000 OF WPT 500 SEATS TO ANY SUPER 50 WITH 100 UNIQUE PLAYERS" Link here http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/news/super50-bonus/2430

Hi guys, just to prove I am still working hard over here is Las Vegas, here is a promotion we are launching today for our Super 50 and Super 50 Giant tournaments at the Club on Monday to Thursdays, this promotion replaces the Final Table Challenge which ceased at the end of May.

We have averaged 71 unique players in the new Super 50's launched this week, I expect this to build naturally as the structures are so good but there is not halm in giving these Super 50's a boost with a promotion. This promotion will start for tonight's Super 50 Giant £10K GTD and will run throughout June and July ;

SUPER 50 £1000 ADDED SEATS RULES

* When we get 100 or more unique players in a Super 50 or Super 50 Giant the Club will add an EXTRA £1000 of seats:

Super 50 £5K GTD (including 2 x £250 seats)

1st WPT £500 Added Seat

2nd WPT£500 Added Seat

3rd and 4th will receive the £250 seats guaranteed in the £5000 prizepool

Super 50 Giant £10K GTD (including 4 x £250 seats)

1st WPT £500 Added Seat

2nd WPT £500 Added Seat

3rd - 6th will each receive a £250 seat guaranteed in the prizepool

* There is no expiry on seats and seats are flexible for use in any tournament at the club at £125 or above (eg. a player winning the WPT 500 can use for 2 x £250 Deepstacks, etc.

* These seats can also be used in part payment for a larger buy-in, eg, players wins a WPT 250 seat, can add £250 cash and play the Sky Poker £500 6-Max Turbo

73  Poker Forums / The Rail / New Weekly Tourney Schedule at DTD on: June 10, 2014, 12:54:10 AM
PLEASE SHARE WITH CLUB EVENING PLAYERS:

In answer to various PM's about the Club returning to £15 and £50 evening comps Monday to Thursday,(full schedule here http://www.dusktilldawncasinonottingham.com/whatsgoingon.php#this-week), I will try and answer all the questions below;

1. From Tuesday (tomorrow) the new £15 & £50 Freezeouts have 50,000 starting stacks & use the same blind & ante structure as the £250 Deepstack (link http://www.dusktilldawncasinonottingham.com/tournamentstructure.php#deepstack ) with the only difference being a shortened clock (£15 is 15 mins and £50 is 20 mins).

2. The only exception to this is Thursday's £10K GTD Super 50 + 1 Reload, which uses the same structure and clock but with 25,000 starting chips

3. We have re-introduced the £15 comps Monday to Thursday to provide a stepping stone from Pub League Poker to more serious play and for those players that want to enjoy the game for a modest investment or 'bring a friend/mrs' for a cheaper game

4. All comps allow + 1 re-entry during the late reg period, although with 50,000 chips and such a good structure, the need to re-enter is unlikely (x 15% of players are eliminated during the late reg period)

5. Reg fees are 10% of the prize pool,with a minimum £3 per entry.

6. If a player is luck enough to win a £250 seat in our evening comps, they can use it for any comp £125 and above, or in part payment for a higher buy-in. There is no expiry on when a player can use their seat.

The decision to return to 2 different buy-in comps during the week is entirely as a result of player feedback, it's more costly to the club to do this instead of combining everyone into a + 1 reload comp, we are in 'trial mode' for this week and if this doesn't work, we can easily return to one comp per night at the same buy-in. Catering for all our members is not easy!
