I only use Ryanair because I have to as they are the only operator on many of the routes I need to travel on. Their success is clearly not based on customer satisfaction. On one of the journeys I made last year there was melted ice cream all over the seat I was about to sit in. Only just noticed it. If making a business succcesful is achieved by ignoring things like cleaning; and generally treating customer badly, they are doing a great job. They definitely should not be applauded for running the business the way they do. They have set a terrible precedent for things like charging for luggage, check-in, etc and many airlines have copied that. Lets just hope other operators don't follow their lead on ignoring the internal hygiene of their vehicles.

Sad news. When I first started working at the BBC (1996, Birmingham Pebble Mill Press Office) they had recently relaunched Call My Bluff, with Holness presenting and I used to do the PR for ths show, which involved setting up interviews for Bob with journalists, sending our preview tapes, etc. Can honestly say he was possibly the nicest person I have ever had the pleasure to work for.

kinda like the burglar/homeowner stance and the Tony Martin incidence, im as right wing as you could possibly be in the latter situation. (i think its perfectly reasonable to shoot someone burgling you in cold blood and not lose a wink of sleep over it) In the first instance I don't think its callous to punch the guy in the head several times and the only problems with the kicks is that they didn't connect properly. Anyone who crosses the line (literally) into an arena they know they are forbidden from should face a reprimand. Only when the invader slipped out of consciousness would I feel any further attacks to be OTT.
In before the rest of the have-a-go's who claim they would happily kill any intruder who trespassed their doorstep. Shoot and then ask questions later. The Met needs more guys like you these days. wouldnt be a have a go hero, would just be too scared not to, fight vs flight is very complex and dangerous. Too frightened but wouldn't lose a wink of sleep over shooting someone in cold blood.

We have enough cash to get through until the end of January, but not beyond.
$821,612 doesn't last long these days. But seriously, good luck in finding a new sponsor/funding. Would be a shame if this place became a thing of the past.
