I dunno, you are probably right, Harrahs seem keen to establish a permanent presence in the UK.

I've worked for both companies and I know a bit about how they go about things. But mostly I'm just thinking aloud...

Harrahs would have built the casinos, set everything up and then handed them over to Gala after a couple of years, after pocketing a hefty fee. They have done this very succesfully in places such as New Zealand and South Africa.

That's not the only reason.

Harrah's role was to be in setting up 5 or 6 much larger casinos. This was when it was looking like the government was going to allow more 'supercasinos' and 'regional casinos' than the one currently proposed.

I thought Harrahs already have links with Gala?

They did, but when they discovered how badly run the casino division was they ran a mile...

I miss work too.........

Hehe,

Doubleup, enjoy the freedom. Have a little break before you jump headlong into full-time playing. It'll help you to realise why you've left.

What's a crack site?

I have to remove this piece of spyware every couple of weeks, does anyone know where it comes from?

Do I have a problem that needs addressing?

As all it seems to do is redirect you to a search engine. How can this be a succesful ploy?

It's very annoying why would anyone use a site that has such intrusive marketing tactics?

It's redirected me 4 times while I'm trying to post this.

Time to run the spyware doc.

I'm no expert.

But I think if you backed the Stellers at -4.5 then unless you can find a match at +4.5 for the Dolphins then your best off sat at home with a beer shouting 'Go Steelers!'

The odds you will get on Miami at +4.5 will be poor, limiting your profit.

I might have got this completly wrong, but ...

The spread has dropped to zero on mansion now ... and betfair are offering evens on miami.

So with a free £580 bet on pittsburg, can't you just bet £290 on miami using betfair, and guarantee £290 profit?

Yes, a bit less after the juice.

I wonder what Mansions' liability on this promo is?

I think there will be a few Miami fans in the boardroom on Thursday!

I'm not 100% sure but i think you get refunded on the draw, it counts as a 'push'.

If your going to hedge then you'll need to check.

It only makes a difference to the arb if backed Pittsburgh at -4.5 and were going to lay off but have not yet...

Otherwise, no it doesn't make any difference.
