Ohh.....new labour membership  poll out gives RLB a small lead .

It’s warming up.

Starmer strengthening at about 2/5, RLB out to 5/1....and Nandy is about 7/1 , but surely its a 2 horse race.

Laddies had 7/1 for the RLB/ Rayner double so took a bit of that for value.

Can the Sir Keir, the middle aged white london MP, see off the soooooo longed for female leader?

There is some value in the ATP Auckland that starts tonight. Hubert Hurckaz is a young Pole with some notable scalps on hard courts. The only people above him in the market are a clay courter, a dodgy Russian, and Shaparov  ( who Hurckaz beat twice last season). The Pole has already shown good form this season by winning all 3 singles at the ATP cup, so at 9 to 1 I have backed him e/w.

Good to see you back here hector.

I've had a mini-dabble on our Polish friend who I believe plays his first round at 00.25 tonight.

On as well..... Dziękuję hector  Smiley

Sky tweeted yesterday evening, the results of 1000 Labour members You Gov poll re the Labour leadership. Starmer had a 22 pt lead over Long Bailey in the "final round".

Bookies had Starmer around 7/4 at the time, and laid a bit at that price, before realizing an official poll was out and he's now about 1/2.

Lots of caveats with the poll.....long way to go with runners and riders, who can vote etc......but a surprising healthy lead.

Can't remember the price of Trump impeachment when he started?

Talk of RLB and Rayner "dream ticket" tonight.

I use the word dream lightly  Cheesy

The list of potential candidates for Labour leader is so underwhelming. I always remember when there is shouts, or a need, for a new leader then there's always a popular choices around the benches. Boris, Miliband brothers, etc.

But I gasp at what's on offer.

RLB, Burgon and Thornberry are all definite no's for me.

I probably wouldn't mind Starmer.

But I also wouldn't mind it being someone radically new who's not been mentioned.

Agree it' very underwhelming.......but it points to a female that can gain the trust of the left wing membership. RLB as low as 6/4 now.Nandy is in to 2nd fav....but is probably a bit too sensible  Smiley

Caroline Flint on Sophie Ridge  : "Thornberry said to one of my colleagues that she was glad her constituents aren't as stupid as mine"

....so that's one less runner and rider. Smiley
