Looks like a cropped version of it being used on P13 of today's Sun.

Thanks for the feedback, most of it I am aware of and taking steps to improve, the major one being the actual picture quality on the stream. This is down to the picture quality limits on livestream. What is being uploaded is much higher than what you see. Check out the youtube channel to see quality it is being filmed in (even this is lower than the actual master quality).

I have settled for lower image quality rather than the freezing and stuttering which I have seen on other streams.

We have some other options that we are testing that will greatly improve the picture quality and make the graphics useful for viewers. At the moment the graphics help the commentators more than they help you Smiley

The graphic software is new and already we have found some glitches so it's probably best that you can't see them...

We have a new custom shape TV table being delivered soon which will allow us better camera angles, much like what you see on a TV Show. At the moment we adjust them as players get knocked out. When we use our full stage the angles tend to better also.

Please keep the feedback coming. I listen to it all and we will use it to get the best all round stream possible.

Hotel room for Dublin gone already.
82  Poker Forums / Live Tournament Updates / Re: English Deepstack Poker Championships II, Broadway Casino: Final Day on: September 18, 2011, 12:56:10 PM
Thanks for some great updates Tightend. Worth every penny!

If anyone fancy's a crack at the 6 Max in Dublin next week we have had a room cancellation. 4 nights in a twin room available for €276. Hotel is sold out otherwise.

There are over 500 players prepaid or qualified. Approx 450 of them French. It is probably the best structured 6 Max event around. Re-entries are allowed on Day 1B if you bust Day 1A making it a bit better value for the travelling player.

Luton in November is capped at 180 with local satellites starting in October.

Next chance for a crack at a Deep Stack in Dublin in February. Amazingly without advertising it yet we have nearly 50 pre-registrations already. Last year was 737 players and we expect to get more this year as we have every year so far!

I hope you enjoy the rest of the live updates here and on the live stream. As usual good to meet more blondes that I have not met before. Especially good to meet Pav the Cat again who has the unique distinction of being the only player to lose to me in a heads up match live Smiley

What's the exact date for the Deep Stack in Dublin next year? How & where can I pre-register? Thanks

Hi Daiva,

It is the 7th - 12th Feb 2012. Details here: http://www.europeandeepstackpoker.com/tournaments/euro_ds/

Main Event in Dublin is a 4 day event with a better structure than the normal tour.

Two events added for 2012:

€2500 High roller with same structure as main event. This takes place before the main. Good interest so far from players who would normally play this level of event.

€550 Omaha. Triple chance with 3 * 10k stacks. Now we are at such volume for this event we should get a decent sized field for this.

Last years numbers were:

737 in the main event
370 in the €300 Side
175 in the €200 Side
99 in the Satellite for €1000 tour packages

Hotel deals will be available in two weeks time so don't book your hotels yet!

Online satellites already on Red Hot Poker and other sites will have them soon.

Whats the turnout gonna be like tomorrow? I'm planning on late regging at 3ish, will there be seats?

Should be fine. I reckon anywhere between 150 & 180 and we can cater for 200 + alternates.

If your definitely coming drop me an email or PM and I will hold you a place.

Re late reg- what time is open to exactly? Can you reg over the phone and do you lose chips per level. I wouldn't be able to make it to Bham tomorrow until around 7pm.

Hi George,

Late reg is open until the end of the break after level 4 which will be around 5.30pm.

You can enter over the phone if you are a member of the Broadway. If you are not here at the end of level 4 we will put your stack out. You are deducted a round of blinds for each level missed so you stack will go out with 49,025 and from start of level 5 it will be played as though you are folding every hand. If you are here by 7 then you should lose around another 2 - 2.5k in blinds and antes.

If you are not a member of The Broadway then someone else can pay your buy in for you. They will need to ask for me to do that.

Pm sent

Replied.

We have around 160 pre-regged already over the 2 days and the casino is getting  lot of calls this morning. Anyone planning on coming down who has not reserved a seat will get in no problem as long as they are here on time. Late registration is available for 4 levels and even if we fill up enough should bust to cover any requirements.

I would expect Day 1B to be the busiest. The casino can take registrations over the phone for anyone wanting to make doubly sure they get a seat.

Liuve Update of this begins tomorrow at 1pm

blonde rollcall please

anyone playing?

Off the top of my head there will be at least the following:

Claypole
Brummieboy
Dreenie
Nico29
kaibobble
Thewy

and a few more that I am not sure of their blonde names.

Super Satellite is tonight, the casino expect about 100 runners for it.

There is still seats available on both days. 120+ confirmed paid/deposited players which is way more than we had in Luton so a decent sized field expected. Not going to be as big as the 6Max next week in Dublin which has over 500 prepaid players already though Smiley

I'm probably going to play this.

Any predictions on numbers guys? What's the cap?

Can I buy in over the phone?

Cap is 200 per day. Not expecting it to be full in advance but I have said that before about some of our events a week before and they have sold out...

You can buy in over the phone direct to Broadway if you are a member. If not then there is a bank transfer option.

Day 1B is the busiest for pre-registration as always.

At the moment around 100 confirmed players so I guess around 300 based on previous experience.

For pre-registration go to www.europeandeepstackpoker.com

I understand you can qualify online for this. Do you know what site is doing sattelites?

Genting/Poker Encore and also Red Hot Poker (part of their BYOPP promo - qualifiers Sunday nights).
