The click-back raise on the turn is just such a giveaway at this level imo. It's almost never a bluff and minimum two pairs. As Tal says, it's possible it's a pair plus a flush draw but I think most of the time top pair is just crushed. People get stubborn in the blinds. Could have been something as random as 63/K6/K3.

Hi , can someone post a link to where I get my ESTA visa for the USA  online . I remember reading there were a few that charge you but I think the official one is free.  Off to Vegas next Wednesday and needed to do one previously.
TIA

This is the link to the official Homeland Security site for ESTAs https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/esta/

It's never been free - think it's $14 or so. Rogue sites will likely be more and should be avoided.

You should inform the people how to order a cup of tea in Vegas. Great fun. One barrista gave me one with steamed milk and, when I politely enquired as to what in all that was holy he had done to my tea, I got the response, "It's a hot tea latte". Of course it is. Now make me a proper drink.

That was somehow bettered by the girl who asked me whether I wanted hot water with it.

Could just take a pack of PG Tips with you then try and buy a kettle when you get there. Trying to buy normal milk over there on the other hand....

Is there anything to be gained by booking a hotel through an MLife account?

Deal coming up as a similar price to lowcostusa after resort fee added. Would prob rather just pay in sterling but, if there is a possible perk, I'm all ears.

I imagine that mlife will just ask for a deposit to lock up the room with the balance being paid on arrival/on departure with a credit card on the room. I guess lowcost are pay in full/no changes at time of booking?

Also, if it's paid in full in advance through lowcost, I don't suppose it'd be very easy to receive comps against your room charge for any 'action' given or poker hours you've put in on the cash tables etc? Of course, you may still qualify for adjustments to any incidentals charged to the room based on your play.

Is the account 100% needed? I don't think it is but I may be wrong. I will take it if we can sort it out with star city directly etc.

PM sent

Hi all.

GPS main event token for sale (£440 value). Token is good until 31 Dec 2015 so can be used for any of the upcoming events this year. Next one is Star City Birmingham starting 5 Feb.

Looking for £380 which is fair so no offers. Bank transfer preferred.

The buyer needs to have a Genting Poker online account and my understanding is they'll need to choose an event & day to register in order for Genting to facilitate the transfer.

PM me if interested.

GIC Birmingham?

I suspect this may be the new Genting gaff by Birmingham NEC. Still being built.

Invisicams

A player that places both their cards side by side in front of them imitating how you would place them if there were actually hole card cameras under the table tv style.

"He's using the Invisicams again"

"Enquireraise"

When opponent is sitting with a monster hand & asks how much it is before instantly announcing raise without caring what the answer to his original question was.

"How much is to me? I raise!"

To enquireraise

Good updates, enjoying reading this.

Thank you, anyone you want a chip count on or a photo?

a 'Tal' (Simon Williams) update and mugshot would be great. He'd love that.

And Mr Sweetman too if you can (greedy now)
