if the car is in joint ownership as I assume it is in the bedi household then my gut instinct is that shotgun rules should not apply but baggsy not driving is perfectly acceptable

What a truly tremendous ruling

It is indeed another fine ruling. Who's car was in question George and also, do you do sharing???!

Sooooooo

Shotgun - insight of said vehicle, with reference to said vehicle rules?? Would this be a correct assumption? Therefore, in summary, bagsy = loser & driving all the way to Devon??

hmm, you've really complicated things here. shotgun rules normally apply when there's already a designated driver. not sure you can call shotgun to get out of driving. or can you? I really don't know
I think it may depend on who actually owns the car, as the owner of the car may claim shotgun under normal circumstances even if somebody else calls shotgun. However this would only normally apply if the plan is for somebody other than the owner of the car to drive for some reason. This is indeed a tricky one.

This certainly has stronger foundations for ruling though, wouldn't you say??

You may also need or will devolp / pick up the following Skegness habits

1) your wife will need to display her breasts in a " hello boys " type bra , with streaky fake tan on , and on a cold day the ability to  point local points of interest out using only her nipples , these being in no particular order , the doughnut stand , the chippy ,the bookies , the off licence

2) she will also need a bit of belly ,hanging over her adidas trackies

3) you will merely need to display ample bottom cleavage out of your trackies ,enough that a 750 cc Kawasaki can be safely parked

4) the children will learn local greetings like wotulookinattwat, the ability to pick things out of ears / nose for a week ,discuss the colour n texture with complete strangers then share them with their siblings/ smear said item on trackie bottoms ,when these are full the toilet wall is fine kids !

Average day for the Bedis on tour! give or take a little  Grin
