I stuck a couple of free £10 bets I had on my account on The Mighty Stoke @ 25/1 e/w (paying 4 places) c/o Sky Bet at the start of the season.
Will be a good season sweat. Hopefully, we will be there or there abouts after Xmas, and will be a squad feared among the League. Injuries hopefully will not play a part this season too.

Well done, doobs. What a thread that is, Tikay: "50 people win £220 entries" Then two people say it's a terrible promotion. Cheers Tal, I just assumed it was an in joke I didn't understand. The guys are both regulars on the threads there so think it must be. Obv a great promo for me anyway. Let the moaners eat cake. That's a relief. I'm sure there are poker regulars who'd moan if you put a fiver in their pockets that they weren't given a tenner. I am not entirely sure what the joke is, or if it definitely is one, I just remembered MAXALLY and PKRPar doing the same routine the week before. https://www.skypoker.com/secure/poker/sky_lobby/community/forums#/discussion/180815/spt-online-giveaway-the-week-one-winners-areMaybe Teeks or Maxally could shed some light on it? Simple 'childish' banter. If your alias is tagged next door, you get a notification on the Forum. If you tag someone on the SPT giveaway thread....they might think they have won a seat. I also think that the moaners are 100% tongue in cheek. ....Anyway, we all know next door its all a sham and Tikay is hand picking the winners. Hence, how you have got your ticket. (Smiley face indicates attempted humour being applied)

Did you say 10p a toast Knotty? How old are you FFS?
I thought only bottom burps of my vintage could remember things like that.
Did it have butter on it BTW?
Lets just say it was a 'few' years ago hey It was when I had my 1st office job (YTS gives you a clue), and I would always rush to catch the train but would be too early to actually start work. Grabbing a decent coffee and (yes, buttered) slice of toast, set me up for the morning before commencing my working day. I also remember them discontinuing the toast and had to venture out to cafes. They turned out not so cheap, so become a pay day treat, rather than my daily BR early morning visit.

One like this? Maybe someone will invent it one day. Click to see full-size image. |
OMG! That could be the toaster of the future. Three important questions: Does it really exist? Do they do a wide slot version? Does it come in a choice of colours? So, before, you were desperate for one with longer slots - and now you're getting fussy. There are lots of amazing toaster designs available. This is my favourite: That looks like the best thing since sliced bread. British Rail 'cafes' used to do 10p a slice toast many moons ago. The top was NEVER toasted. Used to annoy me more than it should have. Oh, how I would love a slice of toast and a proper cup of coffee waiting for trains nowadays.

We have no evidence he has mucked about behind her back either.

It wasnt her back he was mucking about behind.
FYP below too.
The use of cash is disappearing at an amazing rate. I've had £50 or £60 in my pocket for months years/decades & never once had need to use it, everything I spend now is via Debit Card. [/quote]
Stay safe today up Manchester. Being in a casino all day seems a sensible choice. Imagine trying to do your daily walks in this?

Slightly left field, but rumours around the dressing room (have a mate who works at the club) is that Steve Boulds name has been mentioned. Recently been 'moved' from Assistant Manager to U23 coach at Arsenal. Doesnt seem happy in new role and wants to move up, not down. He was born in Stoke and obv had a good playing career there too. Currently 33/1, so might not fit the Coates requirements for the position, but if the 'names' turn the job down.....you never know. Probably see Chris Hughton/David Moyes/Alan Pardew in the stands v WBA on Monday now Me personally, would like to see Big Sam get the job. He would sort out any egos in that dressing room pretty sharpish, and get the right type of players in the January transfer window to get us out of this hole. (hopefully).
