No word of a lie, but the 'girl' hanging off Tikay, is actually called FRED.

I am not at liberty to provide any more details due to the code of what goes on tour, stays on tour!! (unless penned in a diary ofc)

I was actually stopping in an hotel behind that library at the w/end and 'rested' there to have a coffee and a morning ciggy  on Sunday .
I thought it looked ok. There is a MacDonalds under the old library building.

(sent you a pm on here now re: Vegas)

*edit - now sorted, TY.
633  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: You really ought to read this....... on: June 06, 2013, 01:30:50 PM

I need to read more stuff life that. It was compelling and also struck a chord with me. My 'before the bubble' moment (one of many if truth be told), was in a big on line tournament where I went out two spots from the cash. I knew, and understood why, nobody really cared. To me though, it hurt bad. I had satted in for only 50p, and a min cash was something like £300+. I watched the rest of the game play out, and knew that everyone left in that lobby would not give two hoots about my sighaments. Poker is like that sometimes  to most, if not all. of us.

Investors Update, continued

That schedule looks like coming to around $6,500 - $7,000.

I think I had indicated a max spend of around $5,000, & so I suggest each investor (Doobs excepted, his deal is agreed) can decide between any of three packages, as follows.

Option 1

They just take their % in the 4 Events which were enboldened, the 4 biggest Events. They come to $4,300.

Option 2

Take a LESSER % at the same cost in the total basket. (So, 5%, which would have cost $250, becomes 3.6% of $7,000).

Option 3

Take the requested % in the whole package, expected to cost $7,000 or so.

I will send PM's to everyone shortly.

I will be happy to go with option 3. I will confirm deets with you at Brumland this w/end.

Sorry, if I have missed this...... is this totally seperate from the possible Main Event game? I dont think I have posted enough to post on that staking thread but I am still in agreement for my said %.

We will sort when I see you and you can let me know the total amount I will lose i will need to invest. See you Friday.

GL to both the Nottingham DTD guys ofc.......

....but am I the only one who would like the french chap to win after sailing from his homeland in a bucket with two ice lolly sticks as paddles?

I will always root for small sticks players!

Looking forward to a busy day at work to following this today.

Vegas Staking Interest.

Ralph 5%

Aaron 5%

Doobs, amount to be agreed.

Fat Welsh Bloke 5%.

Reserved by PM (Liverpool fan...) 2.5%.

sharplea, 2%

I'm going to reserve 1% for Irene (TRIP5) too, as she had some the other night, & has not been paid her return from last year yet, as she asked me to look after it for her.

Supernova 1%.

Flushy wants to buy some of my action in any WSOP PLO8 Events, I play, too, (yes, incred! but true!) though he has not suggested how much yet. Think he suggested a meaty %.

Someone asked the question via PM, so I'll nail the rumour here & now - all action sold will be at spot, or "face value", there is nil mark-up.

The WSOP Events have the Reg Fee built into the Entry Fee, but at Binions, Nugget, Caesars & Venetian, it is added on top, seperately, I think. In those cases, I will absorb the Reg fee myself, which seems right & reasonable to me. After all, I get all the fun.

There is also the matter of the Thread that Cos started, for the Main Event, which included Red-Dog. I find that one a little awkward, embarassing, to discuss, or even broach. It may seem rude & ungrateful that I have not commented on that Thread, but I don't really know what to say.......

I am sure we agreed for me to have 1% too. I only pop on here every now and again (as I am busy trolling next door), so not sure where it was written down, if at all, but I am still up for contributing to your Vegas latte package.

Found it now.

Hope you & yours are well. How old is your son now? Please don't tell me he is a Stoke City fan?

Thanks Alan, & yes, apologies, I saw it at the time but I've become a bit if a scatterbrain & I clean forgot to reply.

I'll Edit the Staking list now, & you have 1% BOOKED.

PS - This Diary is a Coloured Font Free Zone, please! Does my little bonce in. Hope all is good with you & the family.

CHEERS. Let me know when/how much you need and I will sort as before. Sorry about the font.....Dylan told me to do it!

Like I say, I don't often venture in here but will be a daily reader once Jeeves comes back......along with TommyD, he is my hero!  Cool
