hey man, was obv very lucky for me. i spazzed against ya mate in tht gukpt bolton but i think its important to remember that ive played a decent amount live with your mate and always have a good luagh with him at the table and there is def some friendly rivalry in pots n shit, it was a 6 max tourney also so people were 3 betting ervery hand so there was def a solid dynamic down. 3 of the stacks didnt show up so it was your  mate on my direct left and the other guy on my direct right so with the 3 players all being blinded out on marks left he effectively had position 4 hands out of 6 which i thought was very unfair but what u gonna do so I tried to make a stand but I shoulda just let him rob me haha. he was playing good and i got tired of his 3bets hence a spazz. i almost never ever get into it pre ante without something deece.my range for shuvving here is probs kk+ but i dunno how u can really fold, i passed kings at the last one of these in stoke and been absoloutely ripped by all my mates as she showed me aj off in the 2nd level. even tho my range is probs kk+ in the moment i dont think id ever pass kings vs me there.i cant imagine its a spot tht is gonna come up frequently tho so i wouldnt worry about it too much

I looked back at the stacks and I think you have too much for check jamming turn to be good. If you had a little less I'd take that line. I think betting turn is better with these stacks afterall and then river decide if you think he has a made value hand go all in and try and get called by worse or check call if you think he has a missed flush draw. If you think this villain is not likely to bluff rivers and check back his missed draws alot then jamming river becomes alot more apealing. I think jamming is probably best

We have to fold here imo As dmorgan said we are behind his value range here and people don't take this line as a bluff often enough for a call to be justified. I know villain is repping thin as he would bet all flopped sets but he is repping even thinner bluffs. Not only do you have to think what hands can he have that beat us we have to think what hands would he play this way as a bluff. I don't think he would play any bluffs this way. Axcc makes alot of sense to me or kk, way more sense than any bluff i think he can have.

river play depends on your read of the guy imo. with stacks the way they are I think I'd get tricky on the turn. The board is so wet that I think he will bet almost almost all of his range if we check. If he has a flopped flush draw he will see your check as weakness and bet here at least a decent amount of the time imo and he will often bet for protection with his ax type hands as the board is getting dodgey as you said. If we can check jam this turn this is pretty awesome victory for us and stacks seem really good for this play. The cool thing about checking turn is even though there are alot of bad cards that can come on the river if we look at it realistically most the deck are still blanks and we have a super disguised strong hand. Say turn does go check check and river is a brick we can once again check, he should bet all his range again here. If he has a missed draw he will bet and he should bet all of his value hands also. Now we can check jam the river also, villain in this spot will usually be like fml then so confused end up tilt calling alot anyways with his value range. Say the river is not too great for usi.e a diamond that completes some straight draws etc we should bet small and fold to a raise as his range is made up of flushdraws and ax type hands and he will almost never start turning his ax hands into bluffs and were pretty much always going to be beat if he raises but if he calls our hand is still going to be good alot of the time. I don't always bet this flop also. I think id prefer to check call a street and if he bets turn think about check folding but obviously not in this case when we make sets Smiley

main problem with check calling turn imo is your hand looks like what it is. Like i think you kinda rep the hand you have and not much else. Can exploit the fact this to your advantage too imo. If hes a reg hesprobably putting you on decent overpairs and is probably going to play the river perfect vs you almost all the time by only betting when he has you beat and always checking back worse. So if I check call turn I am either block betting river or check folding river. I think bet folding turn is an option but check calling is ok too as we can get bluffed here sometimes and I rather pot control more in spots where im oop and don't know where I'm at. Good thing about check calling is most the hands he has that we beat i.e 88 99 10 10 etc don't have many outs against us so giving him free cards isn't a huge problem.

I think in this spot i'm leaning towards call or fold more so than raise. I sould feel pretty dumb getting 44 in here as his range crushes us when were called as hands we have very few outs against or hands that have a ton of equity against us. I don't think calling can be too bad as we rep showdown value when we call his check raise and this means he will shut down a decent % of the time when hes bluffing as apart from the FD the board is pretty dry. If we call can rep stuff also on a ton of different run outs if he starts checking and try and barrel him off his 8x type hands . I think I might just fold here as we have a decent playable stack here if we fold and if we play this pot and lose were gonna be in the shit. I think this is just too marginal a spot basically so I guess I fold. If I call the flop I'd see it more as a float and turning my hand into a bluff even though im probably bluffing with the best hand a decent % of the time.

Definately +1 on flatting flop. If we plan to get kk in against his pair/straight draw combos always better to see the turn, see if the card is safe then get it in with better equity v these hands (this is a play id atleast consider). If the turn is a brick say off suit 2 and he checks we have to be feeling pretty nutted about our hand and can confidently start betting for value. Flatting flop keeps his range weaker which has to be a good thing imo. say he check call turn and river is another brick we can shove and rep ak or something and will get heroed here a decent % of time as I guess a ton of players will think we are going to raise his flop donk with overpairs all the time. I think he almost never checks calls a hand better than kk on this board on the turn with this preflop and flop action so I'm feeling pretty good about river jamming. I doubt i fold this hand tbh. I think I just call down and keep his range as wide as possible. As Dan said we have some outs also so were never completely screwed.

I personally think river is misplayed. I think the best line on river is bet folding then 2nd best check folding. Guy who overcalls most likely hands are ax and 3better can have anything. I think if we bet 5400 on river we can rep all the missed draws and get looked up by pretty much any ax hand. If were raised they always have us beat so is an easy fold as the nuts is in our range so would be suicidal for them to run a huge bluff here imo. If we dont think our hand is good enough to bet fold I think we should be check folding rivers. So I think we get more info from betting than checking, as if they call we should be pretty much always good and never good when we are raised and we get to cheaper showdown by leading which I think is better in spots were not extremely confident where we are
