I had the good fortune to be partnered with Andrew in a Golf Day a few weeks ago (my good fortune, his bad fortune), along with a whole bunch of reprobates, degenerates, dodgy car dealers plus four or five assorted blondes who are or were all poker players, some of whom you may recognize. For those not familiar with Andrew, he's the well-dressed handsome one at the end. Click to see full-size image. |

Thanks for all your hard work in running these leagues.
I'm tempted to try to continue them, but you're a hard act to follow. However, I'd miss them not being available.
Will see if anyone else fancies taking on the challenge, but might look to try to continue them if not.
You know you want to pal..... Cheers for taking over Brent. Put me down as in. Be careful what you wish for pal, I used to run the leagues many moons ago, then in my final year I had to borrow a grand off Middy to pay people out. I quickly exited the role. ππππ You are exactly what blonde needs right now.

$1,500 Millionaire Maker
We have one 'hidden guest.'
I'll just do chip counts and all ins from this point.
'Hidden guest' is just a member who chooses to hide their username. There is however a very shady user called 'mum' looking at the thread at the moment so be careful what you say. That includes that animal tittyface or whatever he is called.

Why would you want to sit in different seats in different tables? Surely itβs easier to be in the same seat on all tables?
See Vin, if I could sit in the left seat on the left table it would be much better. Click to see full-size image. |
Can you not tile them so they both fit in the screen side by side? Or is that too small?

Why would you want to sit in different seats in different tables? Surely itβs easier to be in the same seat on all tables?
Hi Vin, great to hear from you mate. Why I would want to sit in different seats surely isn't the point, and even if it has te be the same seat on all tables, why can't I decide if it's at the top of the screen or the bottom? Actually, My reason for wanting to sit in different seats on different tables is because I like to play two tables that overlap by about two thirds, so if I sit in the far left seat on the left table, and the far right seat on the right table, I can see my cards all the time without waiting for the hidden table to pop up. Choosing your table position has been a feature on Stars' forever, as it is on almost every other site. On Stars you can choose card style, card back colour, table shape, table colour, background colour, background texture, animation type and chip type. You can choose to have little sparkles to fall on you if you win a hand and you can choose to throw a dollop of virtual shit at your opponent. I don't understand what they achieved by removing the option to choose your seating position. Oops quotes wrong post. Meant this was a great response obviously, canβt argue with that. π

Cracking quote, only trouble is very few folk have change in their pockets nowadays I still like cash not cashless I always try to use cash, I can't be doing with all that tracking software knowing where I've been or what I've bought. (My daughter has advised me to buy a tinfoil hat) My other daughter asked me if I find the change in my pocket annoying, but I tell her that I was born pre-decimal. I remember when there were 12 big pennies in a shilling, now represented by the 5p, a coin so tiny you could lose one in your eye. In my day, you could batter someone senseless with 1/6 worth of coppers in a sock. Your mobile phone does that. You're welcome. So much better than Tony's diary btw.

Never heard this before (I know I know) What a great song. Vinny, Sebastian was Cockbey Rebels debut single from their album Human Menagerie released in 1973. Only came across this version about 5 years ago when Joo heard it on the radio around Christmas time. It's now played (several times) in our house at Christmas. Saw elsewhere that this was the first time he recorded it with an orchestra since he originally done it.
