Thanks

He has been spotted at Spurs' training ground. Is he any good?

He's fat, lazy, huffy, and belligerent but he will score goals for fun in any league in any country.

A stone cold instinctive finisher.
214  Poker Forums / The Rail / Legality of Poker Tournaments on: April 18, 2008, 05:19:43 PM
Been lurking for some time with only a few posts to my name and I thought it time to come out of my shell so.......

After reading a few recent topics regarding the legality of poker clubs, I thought it best to ask the question "is my poker tournament legal"?

The details are:

- fundraiser for amateur football team
- tournament with 40-50 players
- being held in a local pub
- buy-in is 20 pounds (10 to the prizepool, 10 to club)

This is the first time I have ran the tourney and I am interested to hear your opinions on whether the 10 pounds 'donation' means we are breaking the law.

Thank you in advance.

With Eto'o back I reckon they'll be a bit too quick for Benitez's tactically minded defence.  Barca to win 2-0 me thinks!

Barcelona are 11/8 to win on the night.  Anyone reckon there's a bit of value in that price?

I put him on AK and call feeling that this is the time to acquire a big stack to let me go deep.  He flips JJ.

Thanks for all the input.  Glad to hear people calling too.

Rick.

In $3 rebuy on stars.  2 and half hours into it and I'm sitting on 25000 (average is 16000).  Blinds at 400/800 for another 10 minutes.  700 players left and top 500 get paid.

In small blind with  .  Big stack with 47000 pushes all in from early position, all fold to me.  There was 1 stack at the table who almost equalled big stack, a couple with 25000ish and many sitting on 10000ish.  No information on big stack.

What do you put him on and what is your move?

This is the first hand history i have posted so I apologise for any amateurish errors in advance.

The table is quite loose with 3/4 people in every hand and I am playing tight for maybe 2 hours when this hand occurs.  I am interested in potential holdings of the opponent and any glaringly obvious mistakes I make.  The check on the turn was a big mistake I think.  I am 'quasirazor'.

I would be very grateful if someone could post the different tournament formats that Cincinnattis is running each night.  Buy-in/chip count etc.  Alternatively do they have a web site up and running yet?

Cheers.
